Some of this is good, but the overall songwriting is terrible. Vai can play and write guitar, but his song composition skills are lacking. The orchestration is rediculous BTW.

I wonder what Devin was thinking. On one hand, it's his big break, right? On the other hand, he's clearly the most talented person (even guitarist) onstage. He had to know it, right?

@jed52 He does not. That's Devin Townsend, and this gig was the start of his still on-going solo-career. He was also in a band called "Strapping Young Lad" until 2006 I believe. He has put out some really awesome music :P
