Japan had great bands in the eighties, like x-japan,buck-tick and boowy, when the 90's came, the japanese bands that arose to fame at that time cared more about their make-up than about their sonority...
Basically, early VK bands were doing it for the art, just as bands like B-T who were very outlandish and visual for their time were. As the genre became popular with teenage girls, however, record labels started to use watered down VK as a gimmick. I'm sure there are still good vk bands out there, but now you have to find them amongst all the shit.
Malice Mizer was shit, this was way fucking better, one of the few "serious" japanese bands, the rest was just a make-up parade or something like that...
B-T are my favorite, but Malice Mizer was a great band. Perhaps MM isn't YOUR cup of tea, but that does not detract from the quality of their music, nor does your denouncing of a completely unrelated band help to promote or honor Buck-Tick.
I love this song! And I too always wanted to see a live performance of this! But I agree with ES that this version is not as good as the album version due to the ridiculous speeding of the tempo.
Holy crap, I never knew Imai sung the high-pitched back-up vocals on this! I didn't think it posible. 0_0 That man is amazing! What a cute voice he can do! And then there's his sexy creepy raspy vocals on other songs... the realy obnoxious loud vocals more recently... and that realy unique voice in Cid Vicious on the Beach for example.... He never ceases to pleasantly suprise fans. *in aw*
OMG!!!!! I always wanted to see a live of this!!!! It's one of my favorites! Shame they sped up the tempo for this performance, but better than nothing.

BUCK-TICK inspired MM, as well as so many other bands.
Also this song was made before MM, 4 years before they create their band, so...
