  • I like the Gregorian Chant intro and the song is so beastly Yngwie and Ripper are so awesome together!

  • RIFF

  • Yngwie who? Yngwie FUCKING Malmsteen. Thats who! :). I love this song and the album. Its a true masterpiece. I really want to see Yngwie on the tour for this album. That most be so awesome. This is real Metal. I love that Yngwie dont just play one kind of music. Some albums are metal, some are classical, some are rock, some are everything in between.I love it. Thats why i don´t get borred and can listen to him almost every day.

For me is Yngwie Malmsteen a god. Amazing! Rock on Yngwie

  • When yngwies being awesome the rhythm sounds like Necrophobic by Slayer lololol

  • @vIIJeNoVaIIv "When Yngwie's being awesome"? When's he not? ;P

  • I think my bottom jaw fell off....

  • intro is also on medieval total war ? xD héhé

  • 2:29-2:35...WOW...best scream i've ever heard on an Yngwie song...sorry Mark Boals!

  • The amps on this song are about to explode! What a sound... It's not the speed I'm amazed by, it's the mood, the attitude... Yngwie kicks asses

  • For one to really appreciate Yngwie or too believe what he can do with a guitar is too see Yngwie!

As i did this past Wednesday in Toronto Oct.19/11 @ the Phonix concert theatre.

One cannot describe the gift this Viking possess,it truly is a gift from the heaven's!

  • @TheE1961 I agree! I was "introduced" to Yngwie in '85 (I was 15 then)-via a music video show called Radio 1990. The video they showed was "I'll See The Light Tonight." HOLY COW! At THAT point or time, I'd NEVER HEARD or SEEN guitar playing like THAT in my life! I was FLOORED! Right now, I'm 41 and am, STILL, amazed at Yngwie's music/ambition! Unfortunately, in my opinion, due to (such) a competitive music market/business, a lot of people are, TO THIS DAY, hesitant to promote him!

  • @AngelofAnguish I'm not sure if it's due too a competitive music market and i cant think of what it could be but there's something that's just not right.

  • Fuck what everyone else is saying this album is a MASTERPIECE !!!!!

  • Love it when he tunes to low D...(D flat for Yngwie). He's the king of harmonic minor and the 5th mode. Low D; bass drum and bass guitar in sync...doesn't get much heavier and much better.

  • I get better at guitar only just by listening to this!

  • the Kyrie Eileison is my great aunt's last name. Was also a Mister Mister song. NOt that I listened to that sort of music or anything. lol SHREDDING guitar here...of course...and "ripping" vocs.

  • Yngwie's guitar skills are mind boggling... I have to keep listening to him because of this... But his songs would be so much more enjoyable if his lyrics didn't suck so bad...

  • @tomatoplot

His lyrics are repetitive on purpose. They are about worshipping satan. There's a reason why he always writes the same lyrics.

  • before playin, askin for forgiveness!

  • The beginning reminds me of Kyrie Eleison, because that's what it is. Fates Warning also has a song called Kyrie Eleison that starts with the same gregorian chant, also an awesome song.

  • Finally a song where he's not killing us with arpeggio's through 5:00 minutes of music and it sounds great,he really has got to lay off the constant arpeggio's thing it gets so overkill nothing left to prove Yngwie except your ability to write other kinds of music and show us some diversity the other greats all have.

  • THUMBS UP if you heard this on MEDIEVAL II Opening!

  • great song!!!!!!!!

  • his new pickups sound great! :D

  • @maxwellfortinproulx they sure do, i wonder if had his signature amp for any of these tracks...

  • Only 9,445 Views?!!?! Juay ???

  • Heavy Iron maiden inspired...main riff is like in wrathchild..little shitty:(

  • Nice greek intro!!!!!!

  • First, you're in heaven, but then is Hell, and I must say that I love Hell. Yngwie Rocks¡¡

  • best song on the album

  • yo fellas this album is GREAT.the GUITAR work is AMAZING.he is THE COMPLETE SHREDDER out there my frds.

  • Its awesome, very aggressive and heavy, the way it should be...

  • Kyyyriieeee Eleeeeison. I wonder who sings all those parts for Yngwie, like this one or for example at the beginning of "Leonardo"

  • @Glutonid The Intro Where It Goes Kyrie Eleison Can Be Download Off Or Bought At Any Music Shop, But The Intro Of Leonardo May Be Sung By Mark Boals.

  • i want to go play halo now for some reason.........

  • This is a great one for sure!

  • @cruzrhade Well, YJM has evolved into a fat guitar player, 4 sure!!!

  • No real definition on the guitars before the main solo and it's pretty messy from a compositional standpoint, which kind of kills it for me. Owens sings his ass off, though. Totally godly performance by him here and on "Critical Mass."

  • TIM ``RIPPER`` OWENS GREAT FUCKN VOCALS

  • The whole CD kicks ass!!! So far, I learned 5 song on guitar with this CD!!!

  • @Brokephi316

    post the vids on youtube!

  • After all these years as a "guitar god" I just don't get why they are getting a better sound on the productions. - God, I have better sound on my music made in my apartment..

  • I Love the Beginning it reminds of Heaven then later Full Power with Yngwie's amazing Playing and Tim "Ripper" Owens Fabulous vocals.

  • the beggining is the greek : Κυριε Ελεησον which means God mercy

this is fucking great , unlike the rest of the album whick purpose is to remind us what a technician malmsteen is ...

  • Love!

  • Awesome :3
