  • I've got a CD that I did from old LP that featured 3 organs from Thursford and "The Petite Waltz" is played on the other 101 key Hooghuys (which is still being worked on).

  • @musicmachinesuk Of course both organs have the same scale so they can play each others books

  • This is 'The Petite Waltz' and a nice arrangement by August Schollaert too!

  • i know what you mean about the light.This organ is right in a corner.I think it would be interesting to see how they move everything.Once,the marenghi was at the opposite side of the hall.I wonder how they moved it across???

  • @dalekbitch They had a major shuffle of all the exhibits when they installed the gallopers roundabout in around 2003. I think the Carl Frei, the Wellershaus and the Mortier are the only organs at Thursford to have remained in their original positions.
