this a bad review. your whole review was about the story and how u got owned by the final boss. bad voice acting or characters never cross your mind. the plot is basicly final fantsy standard (not saying its a good thing) and u getting owned by the final boss is personal experence. i killed him dieing once without level grinding, and u can leave the area, its called backtracking.being illed prepared isnt the games fault.

@zx009wrath It's not that he killed me, but that he was immensely harder than everything in his dungeon, and there's no way to exit the dungeon once you enter. That's horseshit game design.

i quite enjoy the gameplay of star ocean series and the basics of the plot

but what really truly bother the leaving shit out of me is the loughable ass diofuckinglog

dude they have got to fix the voice annoying actors in the series, seriusly

the MP of death thing is in some of the old FF games. but only some of the monsters.

I absolutely loved this game, However, I respect your opinion on it, and in many cases agree with you. After all, everyone has different tastes.

I agree that the MP thing was a poor idea. It's a poor idea for that to kill you. I also agree with you on it being way too long. At least it stayed true to the title in that aspect. This was a very well done review, I hope you do more of these.

I quite liked the stupidity of the final bosses speech between forms:

"DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!! BEGONE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING!!!!" While pounding on a computer randomly. Lol.

I've played more games from Square-Enix than I care to list off. I haven't HAD to over-level for a boss before this game.

yep, and something you didn't mention dc is the ridiculous trophy requirements. Some of those thing are impossible.

i dident know you couldent leave the last dungeon O.o,but then i killed the last boss on my first try,yeah the last boss was way overpowered for the dungeon but,well hes the last boss hes supose to be uber strong to many games last bosses are way to easy.ff7 you get the right equip you can beat him in 2 commands, what kinda last boss is that?

the mp death thing is completely stupid but at least it makes the battle more intresting. have you messed around with the cave of trials? rant about that!

And yes, dieing when you lose all MP is retarded. Plus there are moves that use up HP as well. BRILLIANT. -_-

Okay. I have to admit.

The mmo thing did kill allot of the game IMHO but It made me laugh so much.

But the reason it could happen was they had the symbology. They edited the software to do that. It's magic. It doesn't make sense. How do people make fireballs? It just works :D

And yes...I have to agree....The plot from there is a bit crazy. But funny.

Wow, so that's what happened in that game. My younger brother had it and played it for awhile, and it appeared decent (sprawling?). Glad I never touched it now. There are times I'm glad I haven't owned a console since the DC (DS aside).

Ugh, I remember the MP Damage = HP damage thing, that was one of the things that drove me insane when I played this game and watched my friend play.
