  • What does that mean, "Darn clever these Armenians"?

  • It's an old catchphrase, a variation of "Damn clever, these Chinese." It was used a lot in the 30s and 40s as a sort of ironic or sarcastic response to something done or a device (the blanket)commenting on the ingenuity and cleverness of the chinese or in this case, armenians. It is not used anymore because it's no longer considered politically correct.
