That was really neat. I read the book a year or so ago and honestly, i've never had a favorite book (so many to chose) but now whenever anyone asks me, i immediately answer "The Glass Castle"

If Rose Mary Walls is still alive, she should be in jail for child abuse and neglect. Jeannette defending her parents in any way is disturbing. She reminds me of the beaten dog that still stays with its master. Jeannette's glorifying her parents' sick behavior is abusive to children every where who are hungry and beaten.
