Thanks for posting this video, I remember listening to this when I was a child. It is all such a brilliant master piece of true art, not bland music for marketing purposes.
Just a note about the audio glitches - they happened when somebody uploaded it. The original audio was produced at Skywalker Sound, George Lucas' Company in a THX registered edit bay. You might check out the Patrick Stewart version in Full Dolby 5.1 Digital Audio.
When this vynil album was first released I went in a record shop in Nottingham and asked the youth behind the counter for the planet suite please by Tomita. He said, Who?
TOMITA...he returned and said, Sorry sir, I cannot find anything by any group called Tomato. I said TOMITA you c--t. I then marched out slamming the door leaving him with a shocked expression on his face. Tomato indeed!
Thanx 4 posting. Incase you didn't know the title that you put up isn't correct. The correct title is "THE PLANETS" & the artist/composer is Isao Tomita. I still have a copy of "THE PLANETS" from the 80's.
P.S. This is not the original Music on your version.
Saturn is Gaud.

Great visuals. Holst and Tomita are a fine synergy. That organ progression gives me chills. Thanks for posting!!

Tomita is the artist/arranger, Gustav Holst is the composer. The album has been released under many names, including The Tomita Planets.
