  • @CarlosIsDown It depends on the type of truffle, because the're are numerous types & where they are grown but you are correct... some types do range in the thousands!

  • My understanding is that white truffles have never successfully been cultivated, but black truffles definitely can be. I have friends with farms in North Carolina.

  • Ive been doing reserch on truffles and i found out that black truffles are betere for you then white truffles but the white are far rarer than black so the prise is higher for the white truffles. Can you tell me how to grow black truffles? I found out some things a bout it like if you infect a sertin tree like OAK,HICORY,PINES,FIRS,DOUGLAS FIR,HAZELNUTS,HICKORIES,BRICHE­S AND EACALYPTUS with fungie then the truffles will infest the roots of the trees but i dont know how to go a bout it can you-
