Hey so im thinkin i might use the aerogarden for my first grow. One question, What did you do for the smell? Carbon filter?

I bought the aerogarden pro 200, and grew some auto lowryder seeds in it, they came out beautifully. the tabs are o.k to use full strength for vegg growth 24 hour light. just be sure to use the two that are marked for starting first two weeks though, you will need a better bloom nutrient when put on a 12/12 or or if like me growing the auto's switch to bloom nutes at the end of the third week. I recommend Advanced Nutrients Sensi bloom part A and B you need both because you mix them together.

you need to cover the open holes with tinfoil, not a clear plastic. You can't have any light getting into the reservoir at all! None whatsoever, because algae can grow in there (you don't want that) You don't want mold either.

hey man nice plant, get some bigger lights though, a few 250W CFL's would do, but nothing beats HPS bulbs.. especially in cool tubes as you can stick them right next to your plants.

Also your roots looked a bit brown, watch out for root rot(happens alot in bubbler systems), can be fixed with a bigger air pump, and Pythoff if needed.

in a closet that small i'd say a 250 wattt HPS would be best, 400 watt MAX only if you stick it in an air cooled hood with a gaint fan.

you'd be best to start with a 250 watt cool shade, with say a 5 inch fan. check out ebay or growell for options dude.
