The best band to emerge in the late 90's!!! Hope the original band get back together for a new album. Carl is producing stuff now..so who knows. Brett is doing the Re-Fueled thing, but I hope for a new CD with Brett on vocals, sorry Toryn. Angels and Devils was good...but it didn't feel like Fuel without Brett. Sunburn, Something Like Human, and Natural Selection were all incredible. Each song on those albums could have been singles.

Despite the fact that Brett is back, it sucks that Carl Bell's not in the band anymore. Brett was a great vocalist, but Carl Bell was the best part of the band; he wrote some of the best songs of the 90's.

@Volgin93 I would imagine that it's a picture from the Vietnam war symbolizing the loss of America's innocence when it comes to warfare. Vietnam was really the first modern war where there was a lot of criticism of the war and the reasons why it was being fought. It was also seen as an era where we left the innocence of the 50's and early 60's into a completely different world.

This is definitely their best song. I love all of their songs but there's just something about this one. I love the lyrics; the story it tells is beautiful and haunting. "Angels, lend me your might. @gremlinjr there is an entire genre of music that is all dedicated to the 90's and even a station on sirius xm that plays a shitload of 90's songs. that is not going to fade, the problem you seem to have is that the 90's beat all the fads that came before and left them in the dirt. it was the last awesome decade of rock music. after the great 90's passed everyone sat in awe of the momentous amount of rockage and said "we can do no more, let's everyone just start rapping and techno."

Fuel is SO undderrated. Their first 3 cds kick ass. But Carl tried to take Fuel over. He tried to make Fuel mainstream after Brett left, he failed, and it all BACKFIRED. In the end, BRETT got the last laugh. God I hope the new lineup puts out a cd soon.

@Purge187 The weird thing about the cd is it's one of those few albums which have a song for a different type of feeling and it's hard to say which song is best on the cd as it differs from person to person. For example I love the song Bad Day because of personal reasons involving a girl. But the thing is there really is no filler on this album. This and Incubus' "Make Yourself" and Finger Eleven's "The Greyest of Blue Skies" are the only albums I can recall like that.

Fuel was fantastic as a whole, and the lead was so talented. He always performed like he was a slave to what came out of his mouth. Never mattered how bizarre it made him look at times. The best musicians just let it all go. Look at Joe Cocker. That guy just spazzed out during every performance, and we were always left wanting more.

Sidenote: Didn't realize until just this instant that Brett Scallions has a serious Gladiolus Thrip thing going on. Woah.
