Great video! @ all the people who want a Bemchmade 42 Bali-Song, sorry, they have been discontinued. We are all sad, but, on the up-side, since they were discontinued, a new style has come out., the Benchmade 51 and Benchmade 51-95! If you do plan to order yourself a Benchmade Bali-Song, you better have the money, because, for a knife, these are pretty pricey ranging from anywhere around the $200-$1500 mark

@icanflywithstyle The 42 is discontinued yes. but you can still find them on forums for good prices. The 51 is a sandwhich design and lacks the classical Channel design that Benchmade offered. they use way less titanium to make and arent as amazing as the 42 but they're better than nothing. the $1500 version is the limited edition Gold Class version with DT Damascus blade and better scales.

@bloodfoxtrue Well with benchmade you're paying for production materials and tolerances. Benchmade only uses the highest quality steels like 154CM for the blade. Their production is top notch, with things like their latch gate, and spring latch, even the pivot screws are made in their factory. They also pressure cast the titanium handles to prevent air bubbles and defects. And tolerances, Benchmade's measurements are down to 1/16th the size of a human hair. :)

i cant remember anything about it, rough amnesia with that situation, i was going through a really tough time when it happened (December 08) and next thing i know it disappeared, i dont even remember the day i had it last man!

i have an account on thier, right now all i have is a Cheetah CCC that i used a wire wheel on the handles to get better grip, gave it a choil, and increased the swedge, its way to light and cheap to do serious stuff with but it tends to my cravings for right now.
