Masterpiece? Too many of those "crooked" shots, poor composition and man, keep it simple ! Geez, too much use of your toys/gadgets. Reminds me of a "Third world country" and their cars; full of reflectors, tassels hanging and basetube bumping...
yes i bet is is in imovie ive used it, but is this the type of video i can expect from my canon 5d mark 2 video with the tinting ec can you set it as you go or after in the editing
have never seen anything like that.. the editing might have been better at times, the wide lens and mix of still and motion pictures makes up for this though
The video is annoying and there's a lack of editing skills exhibited here. It's a mish-mosh of special effects and supers over video. Some of the stills are nice, but please stick to photography. The music drones on for too long and the piece should be cut down to about 2 minutes. Sorry, I couldn't find a "magnificent masterpiece" here.
And you are annoying for being a shit head who thinks you know everything. Sorry, i couldn't find a person more stupid then you. Its called "moving pictures"
Looks like a bunch of random stupid wedding videos strung together with some stills thrown in, so what's so special about this? Am I missing something?
At first I wasn't really agreeing with you when reading the description, (vertical video indeed, the heathen!) but after watching the video I changed my mind completely. Nice work! I know it's only a proof of concept video, but a few things I noticed that might help you is to use a camera stabiliser. The Glidecam HD4000 works really well with the 5D mkII apparently and it uses a quick release mount so it can be dropped off onto a shoulder strap very quickly when switching to still photography.
I love your stills work and have a number of your books and DVD's however despite being a Canon user (both HD video & SLR stills) I think this is just an overlong selling ad on behalf of Canon - sorry.
Yervant, you are a wonderful photographer and my personal favorite. I met you in the US. It was last year in Houston, Texas with Joe Bussink. It was a wonderful experience and such an inspiration. I hope you see you on tour again in the U.S. Hopefully in Texas. Best wishes. -Scott Aranda
