I'm so confused.. I own "Zombie" which is this movie, not zombi 2. BUT the dvd I got came with a advertisement for "woodoo" which is apparently this movie as well. And Lucio was making this as a sequel to Dawn of the Dead.
Dario Argento was producer for Romero's Dawn of the Dead. He released a cut of Dawn in europe entitled 'Zombi'. At the same time Fulci was making his zombie movie so they released it as 'Zombi 2' even though it was not a sequel. It can also be found as 'Zombie Flesh Eaters'.(UK)
This is gore delight... i think that this movie is the most goriest zombie flick of all times. Lucio fulci is a mastermind in this zombie flick movies.
The boat zombie made his way across the east river and infected people in Brooklyn , that's why they were walking across the Brook Bridge at the end . There's a photo of him emerging from the water , guess they never finished that sequence . JV
