there is a glitch i dicovered in this game that allows PERMANENT DARK JAK, there are some pros and some cons to it. firstly know how to use to the scene player glitch, then choose 1 of 2 scenes 'jak gets a third dark power' or 'jak gets the fourth dark power' and then enjoy, but NOTE: DONT USE UR POWERS OR WILL LOSE THE GLITCH btw the other dark jak scenes wont work cuz the oracle requires u to do something and the biggest downer is you cant go giant jak >xo

i was reading some comments and someone said they had 177 orbs and 114% completion of the game while i have 165 orns and 123% completion of the game how come
Well first of all I don't know how you can complete a game more than 100% because 100% means everything so I don't know what you mean.
And secondly, the orbs don't have anything to do with the game completion, it's hen you buy stuff with orbs that you are one step closer to completing the game :P
OK, because I'm only like a third of the way through act 3 and I've got 190 with invincibility still to get and I'm wondering if I'll make Dark Giant :S

I feel discouraged in getting all the Jak II orbs. Is it really worth it to get them all if you can't stay Dark Jak forever? I mean, doesn't it get ANNOYING that you have to keep on constantly change back to Dark Jak? You also can get hit before you transform so that's no good either. By the way, do you happen to know anywhere in Jak 3 to rampage? I'd need 150 orbs though, 100 for invincibility, 50 for dark jak.

I was around 11 years back then, 16 now btw. So if you're 11 and up you should have no problems, or you shouldn't need much practice.

Actually Jak was 15 in the first game, in Jak 2 he was 17 since he was tortured for 2 years, in Jak 3 he was 19 because.....well time goes by and in Jak X he was 20, again because time goes by ;D
This is actually in the Jak X game itself, but it's written in Precursor language so I had to translate it, but it was only three letters since the number of thier ages still stood like normal numbers, 17 and 18 and stuff
Whats with the Rachet and Jak war its stupid insomanic and ND are freinds at least jak doesn't need like over 56 weapons to kick peoples asses. Take away Ratchets guns and wrench jak can fuck him up. There pretty even Jak has some god powers and Ratchet has lots of weapons. At least in Jak they don't let anybody have a super nova cause they don't got a company that makes weapons that are too dangerous then illegal fireworks.
Ratchet games are based on future stuff, these guns are super strong and ratchet's punch wouldn't kill anybody BECAUSE the enemies have armour and stuff, in Jak they don't have armour (basic enemies) thats why they are both physically qually strong but ratchet have to use weapons.
However, you said super nova weapons, you missed bigtime there. In Jak 3 Jak is the one to have a gun named Super Nova, not Ratchet, he's got the RYNO!!!! ;D
In jak 3 the KG deathbots bots the talls ones have armour and the dark precursors have sheilds. The last has boss armoured legs. In jak 2 yellow KGs had to take like 4 shots so did metal heads that had to take over 5 shots and there where metal heads with sheilds or large groups of metal heads that would respawn. You are rigt there are some enemies in R&C that have armour or takes lots of damage. But there are enemies that take alot more then a few punches from jak but not a damage upgrade.
Plus Dark Jak is invisible and Light Jak can fly and project a force feild, Jak can kill Ratchet without even really trying sence Dark Jak is invisible.
@Daxter609 jak can hold his own witout his weapons or his powers i wonder why they gave ratchet inferno he has like a 1 hit kill with that power if you ever played ratchet3

You know those small screens that turn red when the city is on red alert? well if the city ain't on red alert then you can press the triangle button and talk to that screen, The operator of the screen in Torn, and you'll figure out the rest
you know that glitch of the "find orb challenge" one? u punch towards the orb between 0:01 and 0:00 so u get a mission failed but u still get the 3 orbs and u can repeat the missions getting unlimited orbs..
well i need help on that.....only managed to do it once and it's VERY frustrating
I didn't do that at all :/, but there are a lot of places you can fins orbs, I mean I can get more than I need :P
You can get orbs by looking at places, breaking records at racing tracks, breaking weapon records, those little screens in the city which is marked are some small green things on the map and that's pretty much it :/

Off course there's hope, I thought like that too when I didn't have this. I didn't start to look for orbs before I had completed the whole game though.

when u unlock the "unlimited dark jak" yes u do have unlimited powers. but it has the effect of a certain time. in jak 3 when u unlock the same power u stay in the dark form longer. well forever :P
You know that if you have a PS3 or PS2 you can play this......but the PS3 must be a 80GB or 60GB.....but if you don't and think that the PS3 is still expesive(me too) you can buy a PS2, they shouldn't cost much at this point......but hey!!!, it's kinda meaningless to buy a console just because of a game...
Well, It's hard to get before beating the game because some of the sub-missions aren't available until after yo beat the game, so I would reccomend not going through all the trouble until after you win. I reccomend that you go for it when you win because not only is it hard to get before winning, but it also makes you very cheap and considerly invincible, so it's more of a after-win thing in my opinion.

you get 4 powers
1. Dark Bomb
2. Dark spinning in the air
3. Invincibility (Dark Jak can'tt hurt)
4. Dark Giant (Big ass dude!!!)
You only need a lot of metal heads!!!!
And that's pretty hard, but I made it so you can too, but before you go and collect millions of metal heads, be sure to make sure how many you need, you can probly do that online somewhere or in the game.

BTW, the races and those thingies in the city give you orbs if you do tasks too, but then again you hvae to be a speedfreak like me to b crazy enough to get them all(almost)

Jup, in jak 3 you can stay dark jak for as long as you want, if you have the unlimited code, but on jak 3 it's easier to get orbs there.

(you have to also get invulnerability because dark jak isn't invincible in jak 3)

im at around 125 orbs (i forget exact) but very close to that and im at 77% completion of game
btw thanks for hoverboard video...i got 6 orbs off of that

Whats with the Rachet and Jak war its stupid insomanic and ND are freinds at least jak doesn't need like over 56 weapons to kick peoples asses. Take away Ratchets guns and wrench jak can fuck him up. There pretty even Jak has some god powers and Ratchet has lots of weapons. At least in Jak they don't let anybody have a super nova cause they don't got a company that makes weapons that are too dangerous then illegal fireworks.

Ratchet games are based on future stuff, these guns are super strong and ratchet's punch wouldn't kill anybody BECAUSE the enemies have armour and stuff, in Jak they don't have armour (basic enemies) thats why they are both physically qually strong but ratchet have to use weapons.
However, you said super nova weapons, you missed bigtime there. In Jak 3 Jak is the one to have a gun named Super Nova, not Ratchet, he's got the RYNO!!!! ;D

In jak 3 the KG deathbots bots the talls ones have armour and the dark precursors have sheilds. The last has boss armoured legs. In jak 2 yellow KGs had to take like 4 shots so did metal heads that had to take over 5 shots and there where metal heads with sheilds or large groups of metal heads that would respawn. You are rigt there are some enemies in R&C that have armour or takes lots of damage. But there are enemies that take alot more then a few punches from jak but not a damage upgrade.

Plus Dark Jak is invisible and Light Jak can fly and project a force feild, Jak can kill Ratchet without even really trying sence Dark Jak is invisible.

Jak can't be 20 because it doesn't take 1 year to make the citys into race tracks! It would take decades (10 years) So he's not 20 in Jak X

In Jak and Daxter: The Precurson Legacy he is 15
In Jak 2: Renegade he is 17 (Being tortured for 2 years)
In Jak 3 he is 18
In Jak X he is 19
Haven city already hace race tracks (remember the racing vs errol in the stadium?)
and this information about Jak's age in these games are taken from Jak X, so it's a reliable source.
In Jak X they show height, weight, and age and off course names of every player, and you can unlock Jak from gamem 1, 2, 3 and X
So what I'm saying is correct :D:D

You know those small screens that turn red when the city is on red alert? well if the city ain't on red alert then you can press the triangle button and talk to that screen, The operator of the screen in Torn, and you'll figure out the rest

I know what you mean but...
you know that glitch of the "find orb challenge" one? u punch towards the orb between 0:01 and 0:00 so u get a mission failed but u still get the 3 orbs and u can repeat the missions getting unlimited orbs..
well i need help on that.....only managed to do it once and it's VERY frustrating

I didn't do that at all :/, but there are a lot of places you can fins orbs, I mean I can get more than I need :P
You can get orbs by looking at places, breaking records at racing tracks, breaking weapon records, those little screens in the city which is marked are some small green things on the map and that's pretty much it :/
Hope you get em' all dude, i spent like 2 weeks from when I began :/
By the way, how many orbs do you have now?

Currently, I am at 52% completion of my second file at 93 orbs.

Off course there's hope, I thought like that too when I didn't have this. I didn't start to look for orbs before I had completed the whole game though.
There where times when I thought I saw orbs in real life ( I know stupid xD, but I found the remaining 3 orbs I needed the day after :P)
BTW, You need a lot of metal heads to get the 4 powers from the oracle, the powers are
1. Dark bomb
2. Dark (spinning in the air)
3. Invoulnerabillity
4. Dark Giant (Big dark jak)

and btw...i meant do you think according to the % and # of orbs, will i get unlimited dark jak by the time i reach 100% of the game? i really want unlimited dark jak but i don't want to spend $20 on a gameshark and i know that if others have done this, i can too. ahhh how i wish that i could just copy a friends save file so i don't have to do the work :/

you know that place where u hoverboard for the first time? and u get gold, silver, bronze? how do u go back to that? it seems like the place has disappeared (i checked near keira but still dont see it anywhere) i want to retry the hoverboard thing and get more orbs
also.. do all the precursor missions add up to a total of 72? if it does....that's good....i'll have enough then if i do them all

Well you know those small screens i was talking about, it should be one near the racing arena, go to that one and choose hoverboard challennge or something, and then when you go there, it's there.

On PS2 you press the ''L2'' button.
If you have the power ''Dark Giant'' you just press ''L2'' again after he is dark jak.

when u unlock the "unlimited dark jak" yes u do have unlimited powers. but it has the effect of a certain time. in jak 3 when u unlock the same power u stay in the dark form longer. well forever :P

In Jak 3 IF you use a power like ''dark bomb'' or that spinning in the air thing, you'll go back to normal jak (Which suck, but not as much as Jak 2)

You know that if you have a PS3 or PS2 you can play this......but the PS3 must be a 80GB or 60GB.....but if you don't and think that the PS3 is still expesive(me too) you can buy a PS2, they shouldn't cost much at this point......but hey!!!, it's kinda meaningless to buy a console just because of a game...

Yeah, you should OFC buy all those games, I got all four of em'.
Anyway I don't remember hw many you need since there is a while since I last played, and since I have bought them I can't see how much they cost....
But I checked online for you and there it said you need 165 orbs to get unlimited dark jak.....
And I would buy Unlimited dark jak before invulnerability since if you have all powers of dark jak then the third power is that he can't get hurt.

Well, It's hard to get before beating the game because some of the sub-missions aren't available until after yo beat the game, so I would reccomend not going through all the trouble until after you win. I reccomend that you go for it when you win because not only is it hard to get before winning, but it also makes you very cheap and considerly invincible, so it's more of a after-win thing in my opinion.

Sure dude.......the oracle gives you this power as the last one.....
you get 4 powers
1. Dark Bomb
2. Dark spinning in the air
3. Invincibility (Dark Jak can'tt hurt)
4. Dark Giant (Big ass dude!!!)
You only need a lot of metal heads!!!!
And that's pretty hard, but I made it so you can too, but before you go and collect millions of metal heads, be sure to make sure how many you need, you can probly do that online somewhere or in the game.

BTW, the races and those thingies in the city give you orbs if you do tasks too, but then again you hvae to be a speedfreak like me to b crazy enough to get them all(almost)

You need tons of metal heads and tons of orbs.
That way you trade powers with the oracle and you trade orbs for unlimited dark jak.
