Tommy is one of my favorite players and he is the boss on guitar but i agree with tomo this is an incredible and unique version and they're all fantastic players..this song with tommy's amazing lead gave it a whole new feel and with Sungha backing andy up it was complete!! AWESOME!!

I agree with you that he did overdo it quite a bit. Some see Tommy as a showoff. But he likes to entertain people. Andy Mckee on the other hand likes to write good music. I actually prefer Mckee's music over tommys even though tommy is much more technical with his playing. Guitar isnt competitive anyway. I like to be connected with the music.

The fact that i can't sit through ANY of the numerous video's i tried to watch from this guy, (Other than his cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow) makes it very obvious in my mind that he's not my cup of tea. Tommy actually claimed he finds it hard to play with people like Andy Mckee and Don ross because they have the groove, but no melody. Melody is the most important thing to tommy. Whether the song lacks melody is up to you to decide.

Like I said man, Tommy likes to a show off. I think hes better playing on his own.
