no, the 9800GTX is slower even than the HD4850. You can't even compare it to the slowest GTX260, the 192 stream processors model, with factory clock.

GTX260 is faster than the HD4850. The stock GTX 260 is as fast as a HD4870. My GTX 260 Super Overclock is faster than a HD4890 and a stock GTX 275. Search reviews of the GTX 260 Super Overclock on the internet to see if you don't trust me. Also the games fell more dynamic and lively on the GTX 260 Super Overclock and it also produces more FPS. I had a HD4850 and i was slower particularly on games like GTA 4 or Far Cry 2(50 fps average on gtx, only 35 on HD4850 on the same settings)

You were talking about the 9800GTX, i was not paying attention, sorry. The 9800 GTX+ t has almost the same performance as the HD4850. In some games it loses, in others wins. But almost in all reviews, the HD4850 is by a little margin faster.
