757 Cargo and passenger planes land there , a few years ago the runway was extended , Concorde and a Jumbo can land there also ! I worked on checked in for a season there ....
I'm afraid your wrong there, go down on a wednesday evening and you'll see a nice 757 freighter belonging to Iceland Air, who do a weekly fish flight to Liege, Brussles.
Thats bullshit my friend, only just big enough for a 737? Plenty enough room for concord, ample room for a 737. Ive seen 757 cargo planes land their too.
Humberside is only just big enough to land a 737 so they have to literally push it to the runway before the threshold so they can stop it in time. We had a similar landing at coventry and I could swear he broke the plane. I asked the pilot why it was so hard and he siad they have to put the aircraft down hard to stop in time. Makes sense I suppose.
Was this from ibiza to humberside a few years ago?
