I'm using UX1 and I have a Gibson LP Standard and I still can't get this sound. Which amp are you using? I'm playin on some little crappy marshall, I guess that's the reason. Btw. Dude, you nail every solo you play. Being humble is a great virtue,but pls don't apologies for your playing cos there's no reason for it.

@P0tjeh You're too kind mate! I dont try to be humble, i just got a pretty good handle on the truth! lol!

Im sure the ux1 and ux2 are the same tonally, but the ux2 has more inputs and outputs. I recorded it directly into my PC, so i didnt need to use a real amp. Pretty sure it was the line 6 insane amp model that i used. To get a good lead tone, dial all your REAL amp settings in the middle position, maybe crank the gain a bit, and throw on some reverb or delay. Your fingers will do the rest

HEY. just a side note, i run my xt live straight through the pc too, plug it in the line in, then the line out goes too your hi-fi. it sounds awesome!! ive been doining it for years, you get really good stereo effects, and an awesome allround sound.

I got mine about 4 years ago, and it came with Gearbox, which eventually allowed me to upgrade to Pod Farm. Also, it had a light version of Ableton Live, which I can still update to the latest version.

I run my UX2 directly through my pc with no amps or anything else. I did used to sometimes run it through my marshall tsl for fun and that sounded fucking awesome, so your vox amp will prob sound good too! m\/_

These things are really good for recording, using headphones or playing at low volumes. The pod xt live has better lead tones but its a lot more expensive so you'd expect that. I'll be posting my next vid using the xt live so you'll hear the difference if you're interested. I dont see you getting latency with a quad core dude! Im only using a 2.8 duel core i can run it fine! Thanks for watching dude! \m/_

It depends entirely on your pc specs. If ya got a powerful pc then you'll have no latency but if you got an old banger... well then it aint gonna run so well! You dont need a huge amount of power though! My rig is only an AMD 2.8 FX-57 duel core CPU and 2 gig ddr ram, and i run it with no latency at all. \m/_
