Dancing can be a career and I am not including stripping in with dancing. Real dancers are artists who study and practice for years in order to dance professionally. Ballet requires not only great flexibility and coordination but also great strength. In addition to ballet there are modern dance and cultural dance styles. Dancers work in movies, TV shows, theater and so on. After a dancer retires they can become choreographer, dance teacher, coach, or artistic director.

The kid is having fun. I doubt this affects her career choices in 13 to 15 years or so when she is ready to start college. An active child is a good thing anyway as there is a definite correlation between motor coordination and ability to learn. I could look up the studies if you want.
