  • in Israel? Tel-aviv?

  • Dang, if my legs were that tiny I could probably do that, too! Regular chinups are nothing. I can climb trees and all other sorts of fun stuff, and am somewhat well-defined. But these giant bicycle legs of mine are dragging me down. My arms will need to be much stronger than his for me to be able to do that. Sadness.

  • @knifegill Don't despair- we have 100 kg (220lb) guys doing this stuff - train hard!

  • @marcusbondi good dude very but u do know doing chin ups meens chins over the bar right????

  • @knifegill lol, you whiner.

  • hey, is there any reason/advantage to doing pull ups with your head in front of the bar? subbed =)

  • @neddyynet I never attempted head infront pull ups before besides on a lat pull down machine, but I believe head infront focuses more on your lats and scapula. So you have to flex your back much harder to pull yourself up, which is harder IMO.

  • WTF! This guy must be really heavy, how strong arms does he have? :O

  • Stumbled on this vid and all these comments. What a colossal waste of time, although I did get a good laugh thinking that someone would make a video of themselves doing pull ups.

  • @paulbirrell Yeah - almost as bad as making videos of a garage sale and the local fast food store.... that last 10 times as long.... ;)

  • This guys body fat% is .total views of this vid

  • Are u able to do one arm muslcle up?

  • I know this is an ignorant question, but what muscles does this utilize?

  • @VictimOfBoredom works a shiton of muscles, but it's primarily the lats and the biceps, the pulling muscles of the body.

  • Nice video. Btw in which city do you train?

  • you guys this is nothing. "13andincrediblycut" can do over 100 of these with an extra 50 pounds on. haha just kidding this is very impressive

  • good shit. maybe i'd give it the thumbs up if the dude had a shirt on and wasn't full of himself.

  • why the fuck do most of the people here hate?? they always say things like "good but bruce lee could do more " and "nice but you couldn't do it if you were heavier" and bullshit like this.as if you could do better assholes. you have all those excuses for your inability to do something like this and on top of this you try burden others too with your mediocrity. What YOU SHOULD do is work your asses off and actually achieve something than hate all the time. Pathetic bitches...

  • how did u start to do this?

  • @ExKon3 work out. seriously, people always want to know the specifics of how to do this kind of stuff. there's a simple method to doing it: lift weights, do pull ups, and do push ups. Once you get yourself in good shape you'll be amazed at how much easier it is to do things like this. of course the guy in this video is incredibly fit and could probably do somewhere in the range of 30-40 strict pull ups. just keep working out and you'll love seeing how much you can improve!

  • @hampsted42 Are u able to do this or u just generalizing? I bench around 150, curl 30's - 100 on the machine, 65 dumbbell rows, around 10 pull ups... how much more do I need?

  • @ExKon3 i'm generalizing. I'm not able to do these, but I think it's probably pretty safe to say that this guy didn't train to do these either. He got his entire body fit first and being able to do true one armed chin ups was something he figured out he could do after a lot of hard training. as a reference. i weigh 163, max around 235 on bench (haven't maxed in a while), and can do 20 strict pull ups. Even moving from a dead hang on one of these is damn hard for me.

  • fuckin RIPPED

  • that is what i call Beast MODE!

when you got everyone watching you pull up, your doin it big!

  • whats kevin's height/weight?

  • Hi Marcus. Do you only do bodyweight exercises or do you deadlift/squat/bench press?

  • i wanna see some one do it with their body hanging straight down, like dead weight.

  • he seems out of shape... just kidding

  • cool! how do you work up to those?

  • very impressive

  • nice! i can only do that when i hold my wrist, i cant let my other hand hang like that.

  • very impressive

  • Is that how you got that nicely buff? What other work out do you do?

  • What's your opinion on thumb position on the pull up bar? I've noticed that when I keep my thumb next to my index finger (aka monkey or Gable grip) instead of wrapped around the bottom of the bar, it's a harder workout for my forearms. Any insight into this?

  • impressive. how do you train for OAC's? i'm usually very strong, but I'm not even close to doing them

  • tjis guy is a fukin god

  • bruce lee was able to do 50 one arm chin up lol owned!

  • @eternalthuggin bruce was 'reputed' to do 50 OACs over the course of a training session, which is do-able. he didn't do them in a single set. big difference. lol. pwned!

  • @marcusbondi lol maybe

  • @marcusbondi lmao, pwned

  • @marcusbondi

I think recall him being able to do 50 one armed reps in 1 set from a documentary i watched, remember he was very light, and when he died, had a body fat percentage of about 1%

  • @marcusbondi indeed, the world recordfor OAC is "only" 23 as far as im concerned

  • @eternalthuggin plus he straped on an extra 80lbs and this guy has no weight, no one of course is stronger than bruce lee

  • you are awesome man, i wish i could still work out how i used to do it in the past

  • Have any special diets or do you take any protein supplements? I am starting to train and want to know if most people take stuff to help.

  • Very impressive!! I'm currently able to do around 20-30 pull ups/chin ups. What do you recommend I focus on to be able to do a one arm pull up? Should I do pull ups every day? Any good tips?

  • @Pentaparsec not quite! Bruce Lee is said to have done 50 alternate oac's (switching arms between reps) although there is no proof and it was said to be one of his greatest physical achievements so i doubt it was done casually in a workout. Even though there is no proof i personally believe Bruce was capable of such a feat because he had superhuman strength, power and endurance.

  • i can do better and i am 14 and w. 180lbs

  • nice :)

  • I just read that Bruce Lee could do 50 of these per arm!!! wtf

  • Quick fact... it's estimated only 1 in 100,000 people can do a 1-arm chin up.

  • Lets see him do that at 200lbs or more bodyweight :)

  • @Grongo237 With his Muscle type it would be possible. when you say 200lbs I am guessing you mean non FAT , cause to be honest if your talking 200lbs of muscle then it should be able to be done. If your saying a person with 200 lbs all muscle wouldent be able to do this , then that person with that tpe of body needs to train a little more then weights.

  • @Grongo237 - hi grongo - pls check my other clips - we can do 5 x one arm pull ups at 184 lbs and three 200 lb guys can do 2 x one arm pull ups - but just see max doing the human flag at 200lbs - awesome! train hard - cheers!

  • @Grongo237 check out hanibal mate hes gotta be 200 plus and bangs this shit out

  • @paultheshiv hannibal is awesome, but he is tiny. c.120lbs max.

  • @marcusbondi O man

  • Comment removed

  • @Grongo237

I am 205 and do 100 dead hand pull ups per workout... typcally 25 reps in 4 sets with 60 - 70 second rest in between sets

  • @mixkain dont lie

  • @smokingherb420

lol, a dead hang (i spelled it wrong last post) pull up is with 2 hands full down, full up. If i was gonna lie about doing pull ups I would say I do 100 straight, no breaks in between sets. lol, 25 a set on a close grip is a walk in the park. I can only do 15 per set on a wide because of strain on the shoulder. I have maxed 120 pull ups in a workout before but felt a lot of pain for 2 days so have not tried it again. and I am 205 lbs working my way to 215-200lbs :)

  • ths guy is a chin up monster

  • nice form.

  • That's the easiest I've seen anyone do a one armed pull up, great job!

  • after so many pull-ups he did muscle-ups!

    wow impressive, strong! :)

  • this guys just do calisthenics?

  • god damn thats amazing...

  • great move. clean 1 arms

  • supinated grip [palms facing face/towards body] are chinups. Prone grip [hand over bar, facing away] are pullups. Good work

  • actually this is more impressive. im an advocate climbing and i can do pull ups with one arm like him. except doing a chin with one arm can be exceptionally difficult because its harder to ballence it.

  • These are pull-ups, not chin-ups (harder). Good form though.

  • no hes correct., these are chinups. difficulty depends on the individuals.

  • Hi rctriplefresh5. No I'm afraid these are definitely pull-ups - the guy's pulling hand is supinated (towards his face). If he did them so his body was pulled up on the other side of the bar they'd e chin-ups. Chin-ups are allot harder as they put emphasis on other muscles in the arm/back.

  • these are chins......

  • i dont think i will ever be able to do even one of those in my life

  • @mikeportnoyfan if you weight 50-60 kg like this guy, then you would

  • hi pineapple - kev weighs about 68kg, but pls check my vids - there is 5 x one arm chins @ 83kg. train hard -

    cheeers!

  • well i guess i shall try when i hit the gym, so we shall see

  • doing one arm pullups or chinups for even 1 rep at any bodyweight is an acvcomplishment oone should feel proud of, and that few can do. i weigh 73 kilos(160) and i did 1 rep yesterday!

  • how much muscle will these build after moving from regular chin ups? And do they work the same muscles?

    Thanks :) nice vid btw!

  • Why would it train different muscles? It's the same movement. There might be some more stabilizers, but the main power comes from the same groups of muscle.

Muscle mass is not only determined by exercise but also by calorie intake, you won't gain a single ounce of muscle unless your body has enough energy to do so.

  • @Honken Fair enough, but do they build muscle, or will you stay the same as when you did the exercise with 2 hands?

Provided you eat enough of the right stuff, of course.

  • Your body adapts to the stress you put it too. A one armed chin requires twice the amount of strength (if not more due to extra stabilization) than a normal one which results in an even bigger compensation by your body.

    Short answer: Yes.

  • obviously nice!

    crocodile

  • best form ive seen on youtube and 3 reps per arm at that! looking ripped man, im still working on my chin ups ill give these a go when i hit 20 reps otherwise id think i do some serious shoulder damage :S

  • nah trust me dude; how much do u weigh? i am a full 172 pounds and i can do 22 reps perfect form chinups and i just CANNOT do one armed pullups...

  • what a BEAST

  • i can do chin ups with one finger on each hand but i cant do it just one hand

  • im seriously doubting that.

  • Only one person achieved the impossible, he didn't know it was impossible. Believe you can do it and you will.

  • The trick is to be short, light and very strong.

Im 6ft 5inch and pretty skinny but still weigh 84.5 kg.

If I get stonger I will also gain mass and there for weign even more.

So Its near impossible for me to achieve. Buhu :(

  • Hi Phatfish - I know you can do it! I am 6ft2inch and 83.5kg and can do 5 one arm chins... train hard! go for it!

  • no it isn't.... You just need to have the same strength to body ratio that he does...Which is not impossible at all.

  • thats so not true. there are other tall guys doing this. just search the net. may not be completely common but you can get it. the fact that you are taller too will make you stand out amongst the other tall guys who can do it.

  • @phatfish78 check out Alexey Voevoda. The armwrestler weighs about 115 kg and can do one-arm chinups.

  • @ArtoriusGothicus Alexey Voevoda is the best :), i read he could do 16 half one arm chinups and there is a video of him doing the human flag

  • @phatfish78 Bert Assirati was able to do 3 one arm chin-ups at a bodyweight of 240 lbs/109 kgs. Jack Reid was doing 7 one arm chin-ups at 215 lbs/98 kgs, and 1 with an extra 50 lbs. Yuri Vlasov was able to do a one arm chin-up at a weight of 280 lbs/127 kgs. There is plenty examples of heavy people succeeding at one arm chinning and bodyweight moves. There's no reason you can't do it. In fact, if you build more muscle, even if you gain weight, you'll improve your bodyweight strength ratio.

  • hes a fucking machine

  • this dude has a strong core.

  • great Kevin, but try doing the oac facing the bar without the swinging & not sideways. Thats the way I used to do them & I think that they may be a bit more difficult that way. Keep up the great work..

  • hey Kevin all of this is great but can you do it without touching the ground with your feet, always in the air ?

    I know you can...

  • looks like he has brad pitt abs. those are hard to get.

  • those are hard to get ?

    Brad Pitt abs are normal

    I´ve seen better abs brother.

and these guy has better abs!

  • if you say so.

  • very nice dude keep it up

  • hey how long has Kevin been training for????????? ive been trying for OAC for lie 1 year now, inconsistently, its hard to get...

  • that is pure strength.

    great video dude

  • No technique? I beg to differ.

    Great video non-the-less:)

  • awesome mate!

  • search hannibal for king and you will see amazing.this guy can't do half of what this guy can

  • Single arm chin ups/pullups are brutal...but they are the best workout for the lats. hands down.

    Nice Job!

  • Well, really it's just one hand down!

    AAAAHAHAHA I did a funny...

  • whoa... how do you work up to this?

  • Thanks that's useful. Cocky bastard...

  • no problem bro!

  • hehe

  • haha that made me lol

  • Makes himself look weightless, bloody nutter

  • good stuff make it look real easy

  • whats the third thing that he does? one hand chinup then chinup behind the head then the other thing

  • That's called a muscle up.

  • fuck, i cant even do one regular one!

  • 65 kg... pretty good anyway...

  • the guy in the red looks like he sees something he likes

  • lol, your right.... thats crack up

  • thats funny as what a perv

  • Damn He is my hero!!!

  • os....

  • freaking haus.

  • Man you're SICK !!! (In the good meaning)

  • holyshit!! that´s hard O_O he could easily lift a person, lol

  • wow, that's pretty impressive! I weight about the same, and my goal is to be able to do one arm pull ups and pushups. It's easier for light weight guys like us.

  • my new hero

  • goddamn

  • Plz check out new clips of 5 x one arm pull ups and 27 muscle ups. Cheers - train hard!

  • boooooooooooo

  • Kevin, is ripped!

  • Dude your not normal!!

  • This guy is Spiderman...

  • this guy is crazy!!

i can do only one 1 handed pull up on each arm and ten muscle ups but there's no-way i cud do them after each other like he did..

  • i want to do that

  • strong

  • ive been training for 2 months to do that. It is so hard, I can do my body weight (185) + 75 lbs, so i figure when I can do my body weight + 185 I can do that nice and easy.

  • see i started out thinking that, but i realized that its actually quicker to progress doing it without additional weight and just helping yourself with your other arm's fingers slightly. I weigh a mere 128 lbs, and i still now cant pull up with more than 77.2 lbs (35kg) with both hands but can manage 1 proper rep and 1 halfish rep with one arm.

They are different exercises, and you'll end up wasting time like i did..

  • your 1st one arm chin should come about 50% additional bodyweight pullup.. increasing your weighted pullup numbers is a sure way to reach a OAC, rmb to throw in a few high rep(10-12) sets every other day so that you don't get injured

  • ye u have to be very strong to do that

  • awesome

  • fantastic

  • he does it without a look of struggle

  • this guy looks cool while doing it too, haha...

  • Man that is GREAT!!!, nothing else needs to be said.

  • impressive

  • all 3 variations you mentioned feels the same to me, i can do equal reps no matter which grip i use.

  • yeah

  • muscle ups are easier in gymnastics

  • wow he must have toones of fukin muscle!!!!!!!!!

  • lol i can only just do 2 arm chin ups

  • hey kevin, that's amazing! what is the kind of workout that you do, that gives you that facility with the pull ups?, Please, share your secret lol (sets, reps, rests).

    BESTO OF BOTH WORLDS.

  • HOLY CRAP I WISH I WAS THAT BUFF!!!

  • those things he is doing at the end are called muscle ups but u arent supposed to swing into it. im not saying i could do better than him tho... i can hardly do 1 of them

  • how are you one arm pull ups, pulling up on the the other side of the bar?

  • You're in great shape man
