  • God this is beautiful. Can I ask where you got the images from?

  • This is one of the most beautiful moments in the film for me. A few seconds say so much, and I just FALL IN LOVE at this little moment and am so invested with the character from then on. Glen Keane is angel who was sent here to show us a glimpse of heaven.

  • She's so pretty xD

  • ur awesomee Oo

  • It's beautiful,I wish that animator could teach me :D

  • stupendo!

  • Ariel is a lot more beautiful here.

  • Beautiful..

  • Very pretty I'd like more color but it is so well done it don't really matter, Nice Job!

  • I seriously like this cleaned up animation better then the final colored version. The lines make it have depth for some reason.

  • i realy wonna know is this done on paper!?, or on flash .. it looks very papery

  • whats your source on these frames? could you possibly let me know because i'm intrigue with the disney drawing style of her facial expression so i want to have some reference materials to study. thank you

  • me too, can u tell us? i wont stop looking at ur vids if u not giving them bcuz of that (clusterchuck)

  • that was my favorite part too. she cant talk so the animators had to make her face more expressive, just overall very well done with small little details like the mouth and eyes. all i can say is wow, if i was a cartoon, i would chase after her haha

  • Glen Keane is an animation genius!! And a great artist too!

  • The rough animation on this is by Glen Keane. The actual clean-up drawings you see here are by Renee Holt who was one of the key assistant animators on Ariel.

  • Beauty in motion. :) *sigh*

  • 0:03 is beautiful!

  • Beautiful! n_n

    Jem x

  • glen keanes is awesome :D

  • this is from one of the model sheets of ariel by glen keane. its simply wonderful ^^

  • that is excellent! you're very talented

  • i didnt do this haha, READ THE DESCRIPTION

  • @clusterchuck: Then who was it drawn by? :/

  • @clusterchuck: For the sake of not having confusion, you should add in the description who the real artist is.

  • I love The Little Mermaid :D

  • omg thats awesome!

  • Yup This is Glen Keanes animation. He is amazing. Simply amazing

  • The site was not destroyed by copyright. It still exsists.

  • your good!

  • no no no i didn't do this, it's from the film.

  • wow it's great

  • ya but still ur other sketches r reaaaaaaally good

  • u suk

(in an im-jealous-cuz-ur-actually-amazing-at-this-and-i-want-to-see-more kind of way)

  • just so ya know this is animation from the actual movie, I didn't draw it. It is amazing though, I'm pretty sure Glen Keane animated it.

  • respekt

  • Thats so pretty! :D

  • I made that on papers A4. 12 frames

  • haha I saw this on photobucket!I use it alot!

  • its so sad the days of hand animation are almost gone. i couldnt believe that they send spongebob to korea to get animated. but this is really cool!

  • sexy...

  • where did you finde this ???

    PLEAS TELL :)

  • Sry i I don't think the site got taken down due to copyright violation or somethin. It was actually on piece of concept art that I cropped to make individual frames.

  • I remember that sequence, from an animation standpoint, being my favorite from the film.

  • Wow did you do this?

  • Oh God no! I wish I could animate like that! This was actually done for the movie.
