it's so weir dreading everyone's comments. Ive been in the scene since 95, and I am 30 now. I just went to an event tonight and I haven't been out in ages, and you know what. This subculture is me, I love the music, and I've come to terms with the fact that its ok to go out and still enjoy it.

It was never a phase for me, damn it, I dont have to be all plurry but I love this music I love the vibe and I love the party kids who love this shit!

@ShawnsPerspective I love the music but I have NEVER been to an event...call it social anxiety or whatever but I'm always afraid to try to find things for fear of rejection or being ostracized. Then again, I'm from Chicago - we don't get to have parties like these anymore...not since the early 90s. :( The music fascinates and moves me. I love it.
