It was very funny how easy the cars would flip and go airborn in NASCAR 08. EA definitly went over board with the airborne drama. Fun to watch sometimes. Not so much when your racing at bristol or martinsville, accel out of a corner, spin and barrell roll down the front stretch. Talladega online was fun though lol. Sometimes it looked badass, other times its like WTF was that? Cars in 09 never really went airborn? Nothing like 08 at all, EA just kinda removed it.

EA decided the "Sim" aproach wasn't working, too many complaints and the sales were WAY down for NASCAR 08 & 09. This prompted EA to decide to fully halt this NASCAR series until further notice. They lost the exclusive rights over the summer, and decided to do a bi-yearly release of their NASCAR games since they don't add enough to warrant a yearly release. GranTurismo 5 will have NASCAR Sprint Cup in it, limited amount of drivers I think. And iRacings online pay based sim has NASCAR.

The only nascar game that has the toyota manufacturer is nascar 08. I've seen some nascar 09 clips and the whole game doesnt have manufacturers!
