  • Bob Fosse is actually my Uncle my name is Chris Dimos and my mom is Marianne Dimos who's brother is Bob.

  • i soooo agree to what you said..i mean come on people imitate dance moves over and over again..whos here ever danced a move that we've seen before doing it,ALL OF US!!!

  • happenstance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 12 hours ..... yes BUT NOT ALL IN ONE TAKE... COME ON.

  • HA! that right did any of yall no Bob Fossee did any of you all know David LaChapelle before you all went off about rihanna copying hum nice! what do you wanna be the pot or the kettle?

  • It doesn't matter if people knew who Bob Fossee was, that bitch is a copy cat, she's a deceiver who went on youtube looked up OLD VINTAGE VIDEOS and COPIED because she figured NOONE would figure it out, but little did the FAKE, COPY CAT BITCH Know, what's done in the dark always come to the light. She only made the statement on 106 and Park that she was Inspired by Fosse because in two seperate interviews, the interviewer called her on it and the bitch was speechless. FAKE ASS INDUSTRY WHORE.

  • @OctoberLibra1 ur fucking hilarious

  • @hushedwun1234 - Girl I know...LOL>

  • @OctoberLibra1 OMG I WAS JUST ABOUT TO TYPE WHAT YOU SAID NOT STEALING EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID LOL. IT SEEMS LIKE SHE CAME UP WITH THAT STORY AND NOT ONLY THAT YOU CAN LOOK AT HER EYES AND TELL SHE BE LYING

  • @mzsexychiquita - Girl you good, great minds think alike. You're absolutely right it's all in the eyes. If anyone u talk to & u look at their eyes, the eyes tell a story...and when I look at beYAWNcys eyes and her expressions and mannerism, you can tell a lot about that chic...her fans are too blind to see the deceptive person she is, they are brainwashed by this illuminati industry whore which is what the illuminati does, they want followers to build up their bank accounts and give them fame

  • what a nice and cute woman

  • Beyonce looks so cute ^^

  • aside from all this hating... how many of you all actually even knew who Bob Fossee was before Beyonce used The Frug for Get Me Bodied and now she used Get Up Get OUt (also from Sweet Charity) for some of Single Ladies... (crickets sounds).. None of you. If it weren't for updates, copies, samples, etc then most of you would never even know what a legend Bob Fossee was. So thanks B for shedding some light on a true american classic choreographer/director.

  • @Imhungry4success LMAO stop acting like you like beyonce, i saw all your comments... *YAWN* you're pathetic, i bet you're an ugly girl...sad for yoi. bye

  • @Imhungry4success lmaoooo why are you so jealous of the goddess Beysus? Beyonce obviously owns your mind

  • @Imhungry4success since we're yelling... WHAT PART OF "I WAS INSPIRED" DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?

  • @AriannaBxl well if you go to dance class u would know who bob fosse is ive seen his work way before beyonce did get me bodied and i was disappointed because bob fosse pieces are #epic and for her to just re do them on worthless pop songs are just blah

  • Comment removed

  • @gangstaladie she wasn't copying him - she was inspired by him.

  • yes, they are just a hater, because that is just as perfect as grammar gets

  • @tumejorpose why? you're dumb as fuck! they all have choreographers that do their routines

  • Wow. The people that post these videos defend the artists as if they know them. I guess they are "friends in their head".

  • @jerseyzee shut the fuck up yo dumbass ofcoures u need proof bitch ass punk

  • And I'm a firm believer in that you can't steal dance moves. You can steal choreography combos and routines, but just certain moves? No. That's like saying that every ballerina who's ever done a fouetté is stealing from the first ballerina to ever do it.

  • @ShortStuff528 but the only problem w/ this logic is that she did not just take one move she took a string of moves (the choroegraphy) and barely even tweaked. and did it the exact same way. i don't mean to offend anyone but that to me is just not paying homage to another.

  • @ShortStuff528

Dude do you realize how many LAWSUITS this woman has gotten and how many times she's paid out of court so it doesn't become a big deal. And if she was really "paying tribute to someone who inspired her" WHY wouldn't she say that from the begininning? If i like someone and try to emulate them, then I would GLADLY say that, I am....no need to hide it and then when you're slammed with a lawsuit by the artist you pull some crap like, "oh i was just paying tribute" LOL

  • @GUURL101 I understand that people think she should state her inspirations beforehand, but I don't understand HOW. Is she supposed to do a release some sort of statement before she does ANYTHING? I've never known any other artist to do that. She, like every other artist, expects you to assume you're paying tribute to someone. Did Michael Jackson always make a statement that he's about to start dancing like Marcel Marceau? No. He just did it, and hoped people would catch on, which they did.

  • @ShortStuff528

Well, look at HOW MJ did it, whenever he went on an interview, he mentioned countless artists like james brown to sammy davis jr to smokie robinson and so forth, and saying that you "challenge yourself, and write your own songs" on an E! news biography isn't helping your case LOL that's probably why people are so hard on her it seems more than anyother artist, cuz she's claims it's all her LOL

  • @GUURL101 Well isn't that what Beyoncé is doing in this interview? She's mentioning Gwen Verdon and Bob Fosse as her inspiration. I highly doubt she was "called out" on it yet seeing as though the video was relatively new at the time.

  • @ShortStuff528

dude pay attention...this video here says that she "confirmed"..so YES there was some kind of talk cuz if not then there's NOTHING to confirm

  • @ShortStuff528

catch on? you do realize that there are STILL people who think MJ came up with the moonwalk right? And the list goes on and on...Don't be naive...you have to keep in mind if you've NEVER seen something before then you wouldn't know to do it unless you come up with it yourself. and if WHEN you do a move that isn't yours. you ARE taking from that artist. But if someone else sees you do it and DON'T KNOW you're took it, then they think that YOU came up w/ it unless u SAY something

  • @GUURL101 Ok. Fine. Beyoncé steals everything. The End.

  • @ShortStuff528

Hey how did you get the accent on the e for Beyonce? I keep trying but I can't seem to get it??

  • @GUURL101 I press ALT + 0233. I don't know if it matters if you have a Mac or a PC though. I have a PC and that's what I do.

  • @ShortStuff528

ok thnx i have a pc too

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL well you should go explain your belief to those prosecutors who file lawsuits after lawsuits against her LOL...um YES a ballerina who's doing a foulette is indirectly stealing bcuz you have to remember something. Two things must have happened for you to do a certain dance move...either you came up w/ it or you saw it somewhere. Not everybody was born doing those moves so that means ONE person did it,and then someone saw and copied and so on and so on

  • @ShortStuff528

the moves in Mexican Breakfast is too distinct to just be something like swaying back and forth that anyone can do LOL like for example the moonwalk: are you telling me that MJ and CB and Usher didn't "steal" that? that's a certain move that you can't have known to do unless you SEE it or COME UP with it, get's ur facts straight, Beyonce is a thi

  • @GUURL101 I only saw about 2-3 dance moves that are the exact same as Mexican Breakfast. Also, Fosse choreography is some of the most distinct choreography in the history of dance. Only a fool would try to pass that off as original, which Beyoncé didn't.

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL and that's exactly what her fans are, Beyonce entertains a different audience than Fosse remember so I can't imagine them even KNOWING who that is...TRUST me i know some people sad to say some are my friends actually think she came up with it LOL...

not just "called out" I said EITHER called out or SUED and I'm not saying that she NEVER gives credit, but I'm saying that not all r inspirations LOL she copys EVERYBODY, ure telling me BRITNEY inspired her

  • @GUURL101 Well it's not Beyoncé's fault that her fans aren't as cultured as she thinks they are. And when has Beyoncé been sued for music videos? I've only ever heard of her being sued in regards to songwriting, which isn't solely her.

  • @ShortStuff528

"when"..LOL RIGHT NOW you need to get your facts straight

  • @GUURL101 You mean for "Countdown?" Last I heard, she isn't being sued. The woman just called her out. That's all. She's not facing any legal action, as far as I know.

  • @ShortStuff528

infact some kind of dances can become so well-known to a certain group or "type" of people that people don't really care who came up w/ it first. For ex: when u c a black artist breakdance, it's just so common that nobody really gives it much thought as to who inspired that dance. the same w/ ballet dancers..Im not saying that isn't stealing, I'm just saying that most people don't give it much thought, but I do

  • @ShortStuff528

Do you honestly think that Beyonce fans even KNOW those actresses like Audrey Hepburn and Tate? LOL They most likely know Jada Pinkett Smith...and when it comes to modeling I bet they just know Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell but i DOUBT they've EVER heard of Twiggy unless they watch ANTM HAHAHA and btw Beyonce jacks EVERYbody's stuff...are you telling me that Britney Spears and Rihanna and J-LO and even Ciara and Mya "inspired" her LOL she's a thief who rips everyone, simple

  • @GUURL101 I think you're being very condescending when you say Bey's fans only know only Black entertainers. You don't know people's taste. You don't know people's interests. You're just making negative assumptions. I follow people on Twitter who knew immediately that Bey was channeling Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face. It's one of her most famous roles, and that beatnik dance that Bey was doing is a VERY popular film image. But no one had a problem with her "stealing" that because it's popular.

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL condescending? LOL I've argued with these people here on youtube and they DON'T KNOW...It's not just an assumption. You're probably the FIRST i've met.....BET credited Beyonce for coming up with the idea of that gold suit for her get me bodied performance was her idea, and I a person who watched the bet awards thought as much until i learned about Kylie Minogue....well apparently BET doesn't even know that LOL

  • @GUURL101 BET credited Bey, but did she ever take that credit? That's one of the main problems. People often credit her and others confuse that with her TAKING the credit. It's not the same.

  • @ShortStuff528

THAT'S what I'm saying about her AUDIENCE LOL if BET doesn't even know that she jacks all her stuff, HOW are her fans supposed to know especially when they WATCH BET hahaha you just keep proving me right..oh and what do you mean by she doesn't take credit???? It wasn't like they were giving her an award or anything LOL they were just naming the best performances on BET..

Btw, are you telling me that she didn't take credit when she won that songwriting award? HA

  • @ShortStuff528

    @ShortStuff528

Funny LOL in a Vanity Fair article LOL B says: "'Crazy in Love' was really hard to write because there was so much going on … I mean, I had written — what? —seven, eight number one songs with Destiny's Child, in a row." Of Jay-Z's added rap: "I knew the song wasn’t complete because the horns were so old school…"

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL "now her fault"? you FAIL miserably HAHAHA A lil while ago Beyonce won an award for songwriting...I heard she was like the first woman to win that and what does her fake self do? What she ALWAYS does Instead of stating the truth she goes up there and talks about how happy she is and how she worked so hard and stuff LOL which is funny considering the amounts of lawsuits against her for her "songwriting"..and you're saying it's "not her fault"? try again

  • @GUURL101 I said it's not ALL her fault Is she the sole defendant in those lawsuits? No. You're referring to the ASCAP award that she won 10 yrs ago (the first Black woman, and overall second woman to win). ASCAP considers her a songwriter. Anyone who contributes a lyric or anything to the melody is a songwriter.

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL that's probably one of the dumbest things I've ever heard...so Bey "contributes a lyric"? So you're telling me that ASCAP decided to disregard all those songwriting lawsuits against her bcuz she may have happened to contribute a "lyric or anything"? LOLOL that's IT, boy some standard LOLOL then why is B the FIRST black woman and SECOND woman overall?????? And what is she doing going up there and talking about how hard she worked and stuff HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @GUURL101 She does have creative input in her music. She does work hard with the many collaborators she always credits in acceptance speeches. You'd know that if you watched that video I tried to show you.

  • @ShortStuff528

HAHAHA "always credits"???? LOL What about Survivor" "Independent Women" "Baby Boy" and "Still In Love." that she was sued for?

She was also slammed by her producer on MTV for taking credit for writing "Crazy In Love" and finding the song sample, when he was the one that wrote the song and saved the sample for two years to use in a project. She was also slammed by Ne-yo on a radio show for taking credit for writing "Irreplaceable" when she did not, he did. =D

  • @GUURL101 Look...obviously you haven't watched the video I provided for you. If you did you'd know that she acknowledged Rich Harrison (co-writer of Crazy in Love) on MTV during the making of the video. And she credited Ne-Yo on BET before Irreplaceable was even a single. There's numerous televisions appearances of her talking about other writers and producers. I would send you another video that focuses specifically on her songwriting contributions, but you obviously won't watch.

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL neyo had to call her out...I go by facts and I've seen all those videos, you should go ahead and watch her bio on E! where she said at the end that it's all her and how she challenges her self and writes her own songs and chooses how she wants her video to be HAHA

not just songwriting LOL you were saying how she puts creative input into her vids and songs and I was listing songs she was sued for, some for the song and some for the vid, either way, she gotta jack something

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL and there are numerous occasions of her jacking stuff LOL and it's not just music, even her house of dereon stuff...she was sued for 15 mil for not paying Greg Walker/Icon Entertainment their money. LOL he basically CREATED that line but she won of course cuz they never had an official signed contract, that's how she wins some of her cases lol she works with them expecting that she'll actually pay them and then doesn't..

  • @ShortStuff528

And don't even get me started with "Bootylicious" she talks about how she's so "tired" of that word, LOL like she even came up with it. The song is a spin off from Stevie Nicks’s "Edge of Seventeen." and that word was on the back of a pair of jeans in the late 90's LOLOLOLOL you talk about how I'm assuming her fans don't know people like Audrey Hepburn but even the very net work that promotes her the most(BET) don't even know Kylie Minogue =D

  • @GUURL101 The "Survivor" lawsuit had nothing to do with songwriting, and more to do with alleged slander. The "Still in Love" lawsuit had less to do with writing and more to do with copyright laws. Des'ree gave her permission to cover the song, but didn't want the title to change. That's why she sued her. I've never heard of anybody getting sued for "Independent Women." And she actually won the "Baby Boy" lawsuit.

  • @ShortStuff528

Um no, LOL there were TWO lawsuits and the FIRST one was bcuz it was first called "glorious" and it was made by a producer in Miami, later on Matthew Knowles got a hold of hit and put it in a commercial....they changed the name and put it on Destiny's Child album "Survivor".

The Baby suit was filed by Jennifer Armor who said Knowles jacked it...But B said that she just "stumbled" across it in the music industry...she didn't say she didn't say that she DIDN'T jack it LOL

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL Bey said to her fans(on stage) that she had "written the song" Irreplaceable for women everywhere in around January 2007...She was called out on "Power 106" LOLOLOLOL And Academy Awards Committee dropped her from the ballot for Listen cuz they didn't buy that she "wrote" it LOL so ASCAP should be doing some more research on WHO they give awards to HAHAHA

  • @ShortStuff528

If that's their standard then WHY hasn't other black artists like Janet or Whitney or Aretha, etc won....I'm pretty sure they've "contributed a lyric or anything" to at least one song LOL and they don't have the lawsuits piled up against them =D

  • @GUURL101 And I don't know why other black artists haven't won. Take that up with ASCAP. Maybe they weren't submitted for anything. Or maybe ASCAP thought other people deserved to win. I don't know.

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL that just proves my point even know, you're talking about Bey's fans knowing when the committees in award shows don't even know LOL please if you don't know then don't give me some bogus excuse like they "recognized her as a songwriter" BS, they DON'T EVEN KNOW THEMSELVES HAHAHA and why did she go along with it???????????

  • @GUURL101 Personally, I don't see how "Countdown" is any different from Keri Hilson's "Pretty Girl Rock." Keri Hilson dressing up as Josephine Baker and Dorothy Dandridge and directly recreating videos from TLC and Janet Jackson is no different than Beyoncé dressing up as Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy, and Sharon Tate and directly recreating that Belgian ballet. The only difference is that people didn't know who the hell that Belgian lady was before then.

  • @ShortStuff528

Beyonce's audience isn't really expected to know those artists LOL TLC and Janet Jackson generally entertained a predominately black audience, so with Keri Hilson mimiciking them, we ALREADY know those people cuz they entertained us prior to Keri Hilson's musical debut...MJ said James Brown inspired him but if he didn't say that we still would have known....Just like how Chris Brown doesn't have to give a disclaimer when he takes MJ's stuff cuz we already know LOL

  • @GUURL101 So you're essentially proving my point when I said only when someone recreates something obscure or unknown, it's stealing. But when something's well known, it's ok. Beyoncé's audience may not know who Audrey Hepburn is, but she's not gonna assume that her audience is ignorant like that. I appreciate that she's not condescending to her fans in that they only know miniscule Black entertainers. And if they don't know, then it's helpful to educate them on who they are.

  • @ShortStuff528

um no, it's STILL STEALING lol you should go back and re-read my comment I said most people just don't think about it but I STILL DO...it's not being ignorants it's just the way it was. Audrey Hepburn belongs in a category of those classic white actresses, i personally know who she is even though I'm black but for the most part a lot of people in her audience DON'T, please it's the TRUTH....and if she doesn't come out and say anything then they'll never know LOL

  • @ShortStuff528

On BET's greatest performances and one of them was when Bey did get me bodied. And then some black guy went into elaborate detail about how she came up w/ the idea of doing a gold suit and went all the way to London to have it fitted for her and then they talked about how creative she is..so I go around for about a couple of years actually thinking she came up with that stuff until i find out on some vid on youtube that she copied Kylie, LOL even BET didn't know that

  • @ShortStuff528

YES, a ballerina that does a foulette is indirectly stealing but the thing is that we've seen so many people do it as with a lot of other dance moves that we don't think much of it and no one really knows or cares who the first ballerina to have done it so it's not a big deal in our socitey. You are contradicting yourself. When you steal choreography combos and routines....youre stealing DANCE MOVES bcuz that's what the ROUTINE is anyways..LOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @GUURL101 That's not contradictory. A kick can be a dance move. But a simple kick is not the same as an entire routine that just so happens to feature a kick. It's a little hard to steal moves because dancing can be such a natural thing. You just do whatever comes to you. But it's different when you do those same moves in the same sequence; then you are stealing a routine.

  • @ShortStuff528

don't send me some bogus link, Beyonce credits people when she's called out or has a law suit coming at her LOL and she clearly said she writes her songs and everything it ALL HER...you should try watching her biography...I can list all her lawsuits since she started making music

  • @GUURL101 How is it a bogus link? The video shows Beyoncé giving credit to people before she's "called out." Isn't that what you want?

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL..."a kick"? LOLOLOLOLOL let me give you a REAL example HAHA the moonwalk is a dance move, if you do the moonwalk, and you didn't come up with it, then you are stealing a dance move, it isn't a routine LOL it's a dance move, and a kick is too vague, WHAT KIND of kick are we talking about Cuz I know an MJ kick when I see one, and when I see another artist doing that SAME kick, then I can tell that they are jacking a dance move from MJ, it's as simple as that LOL

  • @GUURL101 So ever other breaker who did the moonwalk/backslide was stealing from other breakers who did the moonwalk/backslide? I doubt it. That was just a normal breaking dancing move along with the worm, the windmill, and pop-locking.

And when I said kick, I was just talking about any leg extension.

  • @ShortStuff528

YEP! but we're just so used to it that it's not really a big deal...like I said you do a dance move when you either create it or see it...you say "normal" cuz you're just so use to it in this day and age....but these dances came from somewhere....from someone or somepeople... you should probably look up where a lot of these majoy dances originated...MJ really popularized it but imagine if he didn't...where would CB and Usher be?

  • @GUURL101 So you're saying when something is well-known it's not a big deal or it's not stealing, but when something is obscure, it's stealing?

  • @ShortStuff528

NOPE, you steal don't get it. But I'm saying that people just don't freak out as much about it cuz they're so used to it. I said that bcuz a lot of people were all like, "Beyonce isn't the only one"...

Beyonce's gonna settle out of court like she usually does b4 it becomes a huge media fiasco LOL

  • @ShortStuff528

When when it comes to dancing, there's no such thing as "any leg extension"...you should probably go ahead and make a video and show me what you're talking about...cuz MJ also did a leg extension in the beginning of his Billie Jean dance, and if I see another artist doing that leg extension, then I'll def know that they are emulating MJ LOL

  • I'm sorry, but can someone prove that Beyoncé has EVER said that she came up with the concept for any of these videos? I don't think she ever claims to be an originator. And who cares if she admits if AFTER someone calls her out? At least she admits it. She could easily still claim it was all her idea and that she's never heard of Bob Fosse or Anne Teresa de Keersmaker and conclude that it was all a big coincidence.

  • @ShortStuff528

LOL actually YES..If you haven't seen her Biography on E! then you need to, she states clearly, "It's all me, I challenge myself, I write my own songs..."

LOL who cares? She WOULDN'T have admitted it if someone didn't call her out. Imagine if everyone was dumb enough to just assume she actually came up with it you know cuz she said she did LOL, and if she still denied it then everyone would OBVIOUSLY know she lying LOL, and that would do her more harm than good

  • @GUURL101 I don't know why she'd say that when there's a ton of proof of her actually crediting other people. Here's some footage. /watch?v=9-FZaoaR1TI

  • uuhhh ok first of all she people need to do their research. Beyonce only paid tribute once and in everything else she has done she stole. For example in her video "countdown" she stole not only the choreography by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker but the scene and costumes. The worst part is that she didn't even bother to hide it. From what I know the choreographer is suing her and beyonce deserves every bit of it. now the world knows that beyonce steals choreography.

  • @rdpcl thaaaaankkkk uuuuu!!!!!!!!! finally somebody see what im talkin abt

  • @rdpcl She is not a choreographer..... She isn't supposed to create new dance moves. You do realize that she in creating new things musically right?

  • @rdpcl bla bla bla why do you care?

  • She always takes things without permisson look at her current video now countdown sumone else is complaining...u can be inspired but damn B at least call nd ask b4 u jus ask 4 shit

  • STOLEN

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEYONCEEE!! lol! Thanks to the poster of this..... lets all just celebrate her B-Day..... its refreshing to me that she gets inspired BC it shows she appreciates others art as well..... "run the world" was inspired by African dancers (tofu tofu or something like that)...... who cares!!!! I GUARANTEE if she was inspired by something y'all did.. u would be honored..... she gives recognition to all which inspire her which is humbling :).....

  • COPYCAT HOE

  • @KERIFEMALEMJ FUCK YOU MOM.

  • Who cares? All people do is steal ideas from

the past, at least she did it justice!

  • @sarahjmartin6420 I care, especially when she steals from people who aren't as famous and therefore can't fight back and protect THEIR hard work. There's a difference with being inspired and fucking stealing everything and claiming it's yours until you get called on it. She's nothing but trash.

  • Stealing is not "taking inspiration". Her choreographer who knows what an icon Fosse is, should be sued for taking EXACT movement sequences (and long ones at that ) from two very famous choreographies and claiming that it is "inspired". Nicking signature moves and calling them your own aka doing a "Beyonce" when someone came up with the movements decades before is robbing, stealing and cheating yourself into taking credit for someone else's artistry. Badly done.

  • Ghetto cunt got caught and had to admit LOL She's such a copycat only famous 'cause her husband is powerful in the muic industry

  • @mikkim11 That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Beyonce was famous YEARS before she was even DATING Jay-Z. Destiny's Child? And her solo career was already nuclear before they were connected in the media.

  • Why In The Hell Does It Matter Who She Is Inspired By...Lets Talk About Chris Brown When He Does MJ Moves Or Rappers When They Spit BIG's Or Pac's & Other Great Lyrics On A Track! Lets Be Honest, Bob Fosse Should Be Thanking Beyonce For Shining Light On That Routine..Because Of Her, Millions Around The World Are Doing It...Or Are They Copying Too..Give Respect When Respect Is Do !

  • @YoungTalent15 MJ's moves especially from Thriller are inspired by Bob Fosse as well.

  • @Lonsterlmfu My Point Exactly ! Entertainers Some Where Down The Line Is Going To Be Inspired By Other Artists..Especially Legends !

  • @YoungTalent15 Bob Fosse does not NEED anyone elses fame. There is a difference tilting your hat at someone aka we all know chris brown is INSPIRED by MJ. Stealing entire movement sequences in TWO videos and presenting them as her own is outrageous, mind you not Beyonces fault, the choreographers are to blame for shamelessly raiding someone elses work. You do not steal someone elses song and take credit. Same goes for choreography. That is respect. End of.

  • WHY DOES IT MATTER WHO SHE USED FOR INSPIRATION?? SO WHAT!!! DONT WATCH THE VIDEOS IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHO SHE GETS INSPIRATION FROM... GEESH!!! GO BEY!!! KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK!!!! # TRUEBEYONCEFAN

  • Michael Jackson was very much inspired by Bob Fosse, too! And why not?!?!

  • liar and the person that put this vid on youtube must be dumm

  • Can't we all just get along, accept what it is, and find something else to bitch about?

  • If you are inspired by an artist that's fine. However, if you use an artist stuff you have to give credit to that artists just like Jill Scott did in her new video "Shame". Beyonce has taken artist stuff way to many times and has never given credit. So there is a huge difference.

  • @ka4yan420 name one thing she hasn't given credit to someone

  • @gammin5 Look it up!

  • manie stop hatinq on Beyonce okay ..she baddist BITCH out rignt ..yall need too stop hatinqq please ..thats why she oversea now because BLACK folk dnt appreciate REAL talent !

    #ilove you Beyonce

  • She's only 'inspired' when she's caught. Lyin ass bitch

  • inspiration is one thing, but watching and copying their steps is another. beyonce sat down and copied it step for step and then added her bits, adjusted and updated. then she acted like she was just randomly searched youtube. please, who are you trying to fool..

  • i love her

  • just like nicki stole lil kims whole persona..and gaga=madonna lol

  • EVERYBODY KNOW SHE COPIES IT'S ALL OUT NOW, SHE COPIED DAMN NEAR EVERY SINGER IN THE INDUSTRY!!

  • haters sit your ass down please ugh

  • Nothing is created it is copied!

  • Inspired NO she took !!! it's one thing to be inspired and another to steall!

  • I really dont get ppl like for real ppl all around the world inspired by sombody an the songs yall hear today are remade yall think its new but its not like lil wyane 6foot 7foot tht was remade he just us a hot beat an beyonce dont still ppl stuff she was inspired by it ppl these need to kno their real music an grow upp

  • It's a music video. When Madonna's "Material Girl" was obviously inspired by a scene from the Marilyn Monroe "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", no one complained. The same goes for Paula Abdul's homage to Bob Fosse's "All That Jazz", her "Cold Hearted Snake" video, and so on. I guess because unlike the current young generation which has no knowledge of anything that happened more than five years ago, people watching videos in 1985 and 1989 were smart enough to know what an homage was.

  • Every art that you're trained in teaches you by exposing you to the people who did that art previously. I've taken guitar lessons and classical vocal lessons for much of my life, and virtually all you do is learn other people's stuff, so you can eventually build your own style. But there are always going to be influences, always. Expecting artists to be nothing but unique is unrealistic. Show me ONE artist who hasn't borrowed from others - it's impossible!

  • I am amazed by some of the things people are saying. I was familiar with the video B references and I knew as soon as I saw the Single Ladies video that she took inspiration from that video. I was impressed that she took inspiration from this video, I think her fans can learn something about history and the Bob Fosse dance from it. I don't understand why people are criticizing her for it, I mean, all artists have to get inspiration from something...

  • SHE IS ALWAYS INSPIRED BY SOMEONE, DOES NOT DO NOTHING BY HER OWN.

  • @aaleidass ...and?

  • All art comes from some type of inspiration. Bob Fosse and his work was also inspired from someone else. It's not bad thing. It's very obvious that "Single Ladies" and even "Get Me Bodied" was was inspired by Bob Fosse's choreography in "Sweet Charity." Just enjoy it.

  • I dont understand how people are harping on " borrowing" music or things from songs or videos its stupid. If your over the age of 15 and you call yourself a true music lover, than you would know that ALL songs are inspired or sampled from another song. PIck four or five of your favourite artists and I guarantee you they have sampled osmething from somewhere or remade a osng its justnatural. If you dont believe me than read inside the booklet and read the descriptions. grow up people!!!!!!!!

  • WAKEUP ! BEYONCE SUCKS! SHES SO UNORIGINAL!!!!!!!!

  • WELL EXPLAIN THE BILLBOARD PERFORMANCE 2011

  • She always uses that stupid excuse Oh I was inspired! Bitch please, you stole their shit just like you're still doing today, Got busted again! You're Billboards award performance was stolen too.

  • @ladynina46 It's not an excuse, it's reality. All art is inspired from someone/something else. You can cut her down all you want, but she's obviously happy, sucessful and very secure. She's all those things because she works hard and gets much of her inspiration from all the greats that came before her.

Who inspires YOU to be a better person? Think about it.

  • @Nina37Seattle Jesus inspires me not another artist! She is a huge thief, face it!It was all over the TV and people know she's a big copycat!

  • @ladynina46 totally agree!

  • Beyonce is a fat "jelly" copycat whore.

  • Awwww, the haters are mad and bothered as always. Beyonce will keep shitting all your faves and you will deal with it!

  • @unbreakablekat hypocritical how you call ppl haters that don't obsess over beyonce, but when she gets exposed now you wanna degrade another artist hmm you stans are so hysterical

  • It is unfortunate that people can't be inspired by things they have seen done by others from the past!

  • im sorry but do u people really expect NOTHING but NEW moves from artists? not happening everything you see now has all been done before one way or another. however she really is a copy cat. Look up BEYONCE BILLBOARD AWARDS 2011 PERFORMANCE VS LORELLA CUCCARINI 2010 PERFORMANCE

  • @megm007 lorella's sucked. and the same producer worked with both women...

  • COPY CAT

  • inspired yes. Took the moves, theft.

  • Everyone has inspiration. Celebrities don't have a right to that ? I wonder if anyone really knows that they're people too. You treat them like they're aliens or something. Smh.

  • except for the fact she used the complete performance

  • Damn motherfuckers wanted her shot and shit for using an idea from a movie. People do it ALL THE TIME!!! Jeez it aint that damn serious.

  • she's a great entertainer, No matter what... Work Bey!!!

  • so, if I made a sandwich, and then you claimed you made the sandwich and brought it to the party, and then you found out I was coming to the party with the 500,000 PEOPLE WHO ALSO NOTICED I MADE THE [sandwich], when you got to the party, would you still claim my sandwich? OR would you realize that you boo-boo'd and pour water over the smoldering small fire before it became embarassing?

  • it's not black and white either, it's in lovely color

  • Beyonce lies since the Destiny's Child era. It's not all her fault; her father is the bad guy behind these all.

  • It is interesting that Beyonce uses the pronoun "I" so much when anybody with half a brain realizes that there is a whole army of professionals behind her, directing her moves, polishing her image, advising her on what names to drop, connecting her to producers/directors/industry types etc. The real identity of "Beyonce" is a corporate conglomorate, "Beyonce" is a actually a fictional character, a creation of big money, maintained and propigated by more big money.

  • @Shirokinukatsukami Well, that is the truth about most stars and performers. It is what it is. Still, at the end of the day they have to perform! Get over it and stop hating. Why so angry? Did she do something to you? Geesh, some people!

  • all artist are inspired by past artist work.

  • BEYONCE IS NOT TELLING THE WHOLE TRUTH> She 'also borrowed' stuffs from the movie Sweet Charity, 1969 (director/choreographer - Bob Fosse) The 'running up the wall' and the 'spanking' routines from Single Ladies were taken from this movie I'm afraid. I like Beyonce but I feel a bit disappointed

  • @sevenmendoyeah PLEASE CAN SOMEONE UPLOAD THE MOVIE 'SWEET CHARITY' (1969). There is a scene where three ladies choreographed to 'there must be more to life than this'

  • @sevenmendoyeah This is what artist do...please calm down. Artist are inspired by the world and things they see and experience. Its not called stealing. Just give it a rest already. jesus Christ.
