Yeah, that was really peaceful and groovy, there, fer awhile ... ... I quipped at one motor-head, recently, that his two-stroke motor puts out more than six times the pollutants of a 4-stroke motor ...
You definitely have some of the best videos on Youtube when it comes to Production, Editing, Information, and Entertainment... Keep up the good work bud and we will keep watching and learning...
@swibo6 yeah its the same one i found it on ebay i got lucky and got mine for $12.00 and some change.it is a great little knife i to wouldnt mind another myself but not many around.keep up the good work on these video's
Hey, was just thinking that it would be fun to see you take three or four different frayed bark media and show each types willingness or difficulty in taking a spark. Wouldn't help me much down here but I'd love to see that and I know it would be beneficial for the folks up in your territory. Might be neat to see you harvest it from each tree as well. Looking forward to the fishing!!! :D
Hello my friend ! Glad to see you back ! I really enjoy your vids and look forward to seeing more of this new area. You are much better off in this more arid place. Its gets wet and cold here in norway alot even in summer and it takes its toll phsycologically on me. I really cant stand those motorboats that just want to speed all the time. Stay safe !
@joe2trees Hi Joe! I hope you have a wood fireplace to park yourself beside when it gets nasty outside because that's the best prescription for persistent bad weather blues. Trust me I know how you feel, the endless dark rainy and cold days got to me too and that's why I am where I am. I'll try to get some more sunshine on camera for you!
Hey mate :) great videos and can't wait to learn more from you! The limited time we had at the meet still loaded me a lot more info then I used to have :) can't wait for the instructional videos hopefully get out and practice them :)
@LPDimion Hey you found me! I guess the swibo6 thing made it kind of easy lol! I'll get some more videos up soon, I hope I can hit on some topics of interest to you ;)
Hey brother! Another excellent video and one of my favorite series so far. It was great to see you going Cody Lundin style with the bare feet and all...haha. I know that it was because that was a shore adventure. Great trial there with the bark and I dig that you're always learning to see what works. Regarding your fishing small kit, it would be cool if you showed a fish catch and cook on one of your outings. That would really bring it home so to speak. Thanks my friend!
@Patriot36 Hey Bro! I have a plan in the works to do some hook and line only fishing but I have a specific place that I want to use for the vid and believe it or not the rivers and creeks around here are still in spring flood mode! As soon as the water drops I'll head out and make that video happen.
I'd like to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. They are all really great and I am sure that many others really appreciate the work you put into them. Yes! You have a lot to offer! Many of us have the desire to spend more time in nature, but life get in the way. One of the many great things your videos offer is a chance to live and learn these things vicariously through your videos that we can not easily do ourselves. And i want to personally thank you for this wonderful gift.
Great stuff. Thanks for taking the time to do those shots where you set the camera up, then paddle up to it. Appreciate that's more work for you, but it makes for a better viewing experience for us.
Expression on your face, when the power boats went past, said it all. But I loved that rather than dismissing them, you said something like " I'm sure that's fun too".
It is a pity that you don't have wilderness on your doorstep any more, are you still in Canada?.
@dmgm1970 Thanks for the nice comments and I am more than happy to take a few extra minutes to get some good footage in fact I have a lot of fun doing it!
I am still in BC just further south. There is still plenty of wilderness around but it takes a little longer to get to it now.
Your face said it all, when the pristine quiet was shattered by the motorboats. It is sad though, that the people in those boats, will never understand the beauty, solitude, and clarity, that being within nature brings to the soul.
keep imparting the knowledge and making great videos.
Great again ; ) cool with your knife, ...for me the tinder looked also good!? Cool "walls" and bird nests. Cool statement ; ) ...what else to you need for life! haha. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience! Looking forward for more, my friend. Have a great weekend, Sepp
Great video man. Judging by other vids that I've watched on your channel you have a ton of knowledge to share. Oh, and I like your method of boating better as well.
@Billybob09871 I like going barefoot if the weather and terrain permits it but sandals and boots are never far away. Living in the rainforest really softened my feet up though so I'm just starting to toughen them up again.

... His response was ... "Kiss My Ass ! ".
