Err..... With all honesty, no, not exactly anyways. Y'see, the Whip that you get is designed like a snake, and it has a red-ish color. Noticing this, as well as the fact that the whip's primary use is to swing across gaps, has led to the extrapolation by many fans that there is some connection between Rope Snake and the Whip in Spirit Tracks.
