  • Thanks so much! I have a really important exam tomorrow, so I was getting awesomely nervous and anxious. This helped a lot, maybe I'll do it again in the evening :) so, do you reckon the pressure on the point on the forehead or the breathing has the relaxing effect?? (I'm just curious) Because I did this excercise in a yoga class before, just without pressing the forehead. ~Emily

  • Hi @emsyduckie,

    I think that it is mainly the breathing that induces the relaxation. The pressure point is pressing upon your third eye so helps to clear this chakra. I find that having the finger there helps to stabilise the hand and therefore the mind.

    with anxiety due to thoughts

    of what i didnt finish at work

    and i searched for relaxation vids

    and this one really helped me
