  • do you ride at gwyn meadows?

  • @jumpn4horses thanks but i know what i'm doing with that horse. her teeth were the reason she did that, that's fixed now. thanks though :)

  • I love the video! Very cute horse and awesome riding!!!

  • thanks :)

  • I mean cute horses!

  • haha thank you :)

  • Thats really cute horse!

  • lol my birthday

  • You look nice on the horse! Your legs dont even move! and your hands hardly move too! O_o

    I subscribed to U! ^^

  • thank you so much!! =]

  • Nice riding! I love your horses!!

  • thank you =)

  • this is really well synchronized and cuteee horse(s?)

  • thanks!!

  • do you use a german martingale? i couldnt really tell but i love those things xD those and draw reins are just awsome =P

  • nope, i dont. i used to use one on caly 2 years ago but i haven't used it since then. once a week (about) i'll use draw reins on milo and caly to help them get more muscle though =) and side reins (lunging in them) - i love them! they help so much with muscle in places that they won't get it as much while you're riding. i try to do those at least once a week on caly and milo. =]

  • oh and for caly, i see what you mean that it looks like a german martingale. i just have a running martingale on her, but i use two rings on the gag because just the gag ring makes her go inside out. so i mostly ride off the snaffle rein and the gag rein helps when i need it =)

  • ohh ok i see it now, its kinda hard to tell =P and ya i lunge my horse midge in side reins too, theyre great!! midge is also an OTTB but she only shows it when she gets in an indoor ring =/ completly freaks her out

  • yeah side reins are great, i love them! caly i've had for a while, so she's completely broke but she's special...haha we train her & do things that are probably what "textbooks" say not to do. but it's what works for her...and milo is a pretty good kid. he's only 4 and we've been through some rough spots but at times he's awesome. still working through a lot...right now it's refusing because i think the bigger jumps at a show we went to scared him. i agree with indoors, both of my horses go

  • (continued) much better outside, but they have to deal with the indoor during the winter / bad footing / rain / etc. i think most horses are better outside compared to an indoor though...maybe the sounds? idk. haha i personally prefer outdoors too so i can't blame them. =)

  • haha yeah well our problem was getting to a show late and not being able to school in the indoor or covered before and the her just being thrown into our 12-14 eq in the indoor and its a hugeee indoor, its used for the grand prix and medals and everything else that goes on so it was just too much for her and she lost it and came out completly DRENCHED in sweat. Yet the show after was an outdoor and she was amazing and we got grand in pre-childrens. she just HATES indoors, wont tolerate them =/

  • -cont.- plus we dont have an indoor or covered at home, we have 4 outdoors so she doesnt really ever get schooling in anything else so she never gets over it

  • oh okay. maybe you could find a barn that will let you go over and practice in an indoor?? we have people come use our indoors in the winter sometimes. =)

  • i WOULD but we dont have our own trailer so we'd have to use the barns and the barn owner basicaly milks ya for all you got money wise and it would just be too expensive and not worth it

  • oh that stinks =[ im sorry lol. if i had a trailer and lived near you, id help! haha but i dont have my own trailer and i dont think you live in pa?

  • nope! lol

  • hi im alexa.. i subscribed 2 u because i adore ur videos. i luv this video nd charismatic 2008. i love horses myself.

  • your horses are beautiful (:

    i personally love milo !

  • thank you!!

  • awll yay! hopefully ill see you guys go =] are you showing milo too?

  • yep, milo in the childrens + jr eq + jr pleasure + a 2' jumpers class. and maybe pumpkin in the crossrail jumpers. and idk about lucy? lol are you doing childrens??

  • haha thats a lot! =] uhmm i think i'm gonna try to do childrens or high schooling. i've noticed that i haven't shown for a while so when dana asked me if i was showing the other day i was like yeah! but i forgot to ask my mom & dad lol so i'm planning on showing i just have to tell them lol :]

  • lol only caly and milo are definites =) yeah besides briarwood, i hadnt show since before devon and it felt like forever. but now its summer and we can show a lot! haha =] im actually not doing many ahs shows though, just ssf and fox heath ones. and maybe one our farm and a brigadoon. =[ sad. haha oh well hopefully i'll see you sunday!!

  • oh okay =] yeah i know it seems like forever lol! oh well ill see you at some of the shows then still hopefully! :) are you doing some bigger ones instead?

  • yeah you will! and idk. haha i definitely want to do some briarwoods, and i'll see what else jenn goes to and decide as they come up. you should get dana to bring you guys to a briarwood sometime in july / august. they're so much fun!!

  • i was suppose to go to the first week of penn state but poca, my dog, is older now and its too hard for someone to watch her cause she has allergies and a cold so we arent doing penn state anymore =/ but hopefully another one :)

  • aw i'm sorry =[ yeah briarwoods are only a day, penn state is an overnight show right??

  • thanks :] yeah its a few days long and i was gonna do the first week cause there are like three weeks i think? i dont remember lol

lol and they're hibiscus flowers. tropical flowers in different shades of blue + white. =)

  • Ahaha Chelsea. That's such a you thing to do. Most people have solid colors.."oh, their hibiscus flowers." xDD

  • lol they're one of my "tamer" designs...my trainer actually likes them. hahah

  • thank you so much!!

  • you looked so good on them!

they are both so gorgeous (:

  • thank you so much =]

  • milo is soooooo prettyy haha ur riding looks great! and u ride them both veryy welll ((: lovee ur videoss

  • aw thank you! =)

  • you look great! you looked a bit timid, she reminds me of quinn, i have been timid with her lately, she refused a jump and threw me through it, so im not sure about jumping her. :(

  • thanks =]

yeah i wasn't sure what she was going to do when the jumps got big. not timid really, i just sat back in case she did refuse. which actually worked out well, my trainer said that's how i should ride her. haha =] i trust caly with almost anything. when the jumps get really big, she will refuse if i dont ride it right. but she's usually pretty good with going over them =)

  • haha! thats good! i dont know if i should even keep quinn or not

  • if it was only a one time thing, i'd definitely recommend working through it, preferably with a trainer if you have one. if it happens often and you have worked with a trainer and everything, then i'd look into other options like sending her away for professional training or trying another trainer.

  • idk, if i take her outside the arena, like up in the front yard, its really big, or canter up and down the driveway, she is fine, no head throwing or anything. im confused. :S

  • my Favorite song :] Nice indoor as well!

  • thanks =]

  • those darn huge indoors ;)

  • hahah =) i still prefer outdoors way more. all the good jumps are outside too! it better not rain this week...it rained enough today. like major flooding, not fun.

  • really?? it's been nice over here.. i thought you were like an hour and half away haha

  • lucky!! lol it downpoured today. and i was at horsatack all morning so i was 50min one way from my house for a while and back to my house and then 30 min another way to the barn and back and everywhere it downpoured. haha =[

  • grossss. hey do you have AIM?

  • i have one. but i'm literally never on it...everrr. haha the fastest way to talk to me is probs facebook, i'm on there a lot and i have message/status notifications texted to me. =]

  • thank you!! =)

  • your horse is such a pretty jumper!

    they are both gorgeous :D

  • thank you =)))

  • im glad to see youre jumping her!! :) btw good luck at the vermont summer festival! how long will u be there?

  • lol yeah i watched some old videos and decided i would suck it up and deal with her because i really wanted to jump her. and i changed back to another bit and it seems to be helping. she's tons better than that one lesson that i wanted to never ride her again. ahaha

and thank you! i'll be there for a week =))) i'm so exciteddd. we're getting a house for all of us and everything. =]

  • haha well good you want to keep her n stuff! :) cus she rly is an amazing jumper. she OWNS lol. ever horse has their off days..or crazy days as u shud call it for her :P

well good luck in vermont!! im so jealous that you get to get a house. i imagine that will be more fun than the actual show lol

  • lol yeah i would never sell her...she would never be able to be sold even if i wanted to sell her, no lie. haha if anything she may go to the other place in november/december. idk. and every day is a crazy day for her...she's the kind of horse that has good days once in a while. hahah but i love her, secretly. =]

thanks! and yeah, i think i'm more excited for everything else than the actual showing. sad. hahah
