When Guitar Hero came out I was introduced to music such as The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, The Who, Cream, The Smashing Pumpkins, etc. Although there is A LOT of garbage in the game (Dragonforce etc.) it got me interested into music and that is why I learned how to play the guitar as an instrument and not a toy later.
