I bought this in 1967 when the Showmen appeared in my hometown, Danville, Va. It has since disappeared but it's great to hear the song again. This was recorded in Greensboro and I believe it was their only release on Jokers Three. Should have been a hit. Rest in Peace, Norman Johnson.
The labels named after a 70's nightclub in Greensboro, NC, owned by the locally famous Bill Griffin. He also owned The Castaways Club, The Boondocks, and the Bushes. Just a little historical BS from a local.
I still have their autographs from an appearance at the local G.C. Murphy store. General signed as "Norman."
