That sounds really nice. I have to learn how to play that on my clarinet. I just got the sheet music for it, and as you were playing it, I was following along. I've never heard this song before in my life, but thanks to you, I now know a little bit of how it's supposed to sound. (:
Well done sir! The audio quality did not detract one bit from your performance! Whenever I hear that passage it make me think of a video I saw on the tv many moons ago, it was video of a flight someone took over England, starting above St. Paul's Cathedral and going along the Thames thru the countryside - you know the rolling hills of Yorkshire and Wales and all that; made me profoundly proud to be of British descent! Someday I'll go over 'ome and see all that and this passage will be in my mind
This song has a way of reaching down into and pulling the lump out of my throat and setting it on a pedestal for me to look at in wonder.Well done,sir...and thank you.
OwO So amazing! You are my idol right now *stalk stalk* I'm not really gonna stalk you >.> You are so good at piano! I hope that someday I'll be able to play as well as you <3
The whole piece is beautiful, and this part- just love.
PP4, you have nothing to be ashamed about, your parents should be quite proud of you. Your talent shines through, make sure you use this gift and don't let it go
Should have filmed it from your left side so that the perspective would make the right side of the piano look smaller so that when you put in your url will be moving towards you, and "pianoplayer4" will be emphasized against the narrowing of the piano so that people notice that more.
Great Job, but I am goin to have to go with what a few commentators already said, and that is to slow down, let the rich sounds flow. When you build the dynamic(which you did very well) dont build the tempo. Otherwise, you are an excellent player, keep up the good work.
yes, exactly ... slow down... it should (have been - now you're more mature I suppose) be more ... majestic... not kind of "yeah, mum, I come and help as soon as I've done this recording" :-)) otherwise, great :)
Omg! That is well brilliant, amazing, spectacular! Thought mine was alright but this is just amazing. My version is different though i spose. Good luck in the future if u carry iton.
I walked down my wedding aisle to this chorale. I was very impressed with this young artist's performance of one of the most beautiful melodies/chorales ever written. Please continue to develop your artistic majestry and, more importantly, continue to deepen your artistic sensibility - the heart is the truest vehicle of artistic endeavor (not the head.) Well done!
hi my dear friend pianist, did you hear the original version who was composed by the Gustav Holst ? well i am sure you could show was that song more fast with your tempo but i guess we should keep the tempo of the original because he wanted to express for sure something very beautiful which you will notice very fast by playing the right tempo!!!!!!
This is my favorite section in Jupiter (which is my favorite classical song ever!)... I absolutely love hearing it on violins, but listening to you play it on piano is incredibly beautiful. You did such an amazing job!!! I read on your profile page that you play by ear... WOW!!! You are so talented!!! Awesome job!!!!!!! =)
Very good! But why did you change it from it's original key? I like it better when it doesn't sound as happy and light as your version. But still great!
Dude what do you mean sorry?????? Seriously that was the best I have ever heard!!!!!!!!!!! I really was expecting this average person to be playing.... But you hit it out of the ballpark!!!!!!!!!!! Great Job and keep this up!!!!!!!
Two recommendations I have. Dont switch octaves up and down so much in the melody.
Dont be afraid to mess with time. You can take a little bit of time getting to the starts of new phrases. Around 1:10 you accelerando a bit, and thats definitely not the effect you want. If anything, you can do a slight ritard there.
Bravo! Your playing is just stunning, I'm really impressed by the emotion you managed to eke out of that piano. A beautiful piece! Holst would be proud and I for one enjoyed the minor dynamic changes you instilled in the piece. The only suggestion I could make is that in the middle, when you are building up to ff, the piece almost starts to have a 'clunky' feel? Maybe slowing down just a tiny bit would assist to avoid the 'oom-pah' feel at that moment? Brilliant playing, I'm very impressed!
Lovely! My marching band did this for a show two years ago. It's a beautiful song; some fellow students and I played it at my band directors wedding a year ago. This song has many happy memories for me. Keep up the good work, friend :)
@luvbrasilian Well, it's all a matter of preference. If there are good arrangements of good pieces of music, there's no harm in performing them. Pop tunes get old after the first 100 times.
