@stuffemburgers My cousin got one recently, one of the real deal sola sound replicas DAM does. Fuckenamazing, and because of that, your going to be waiting a while. Apparently theres like a 3 year waiting list, thats how many people want them! so unless you pay through the nose for a second hand one i wishyou luck dude!

My only issue with this one is that it doesn't come in a wedge-shaped box like the original. I like my wedges.

I love Jeff Beck's tone on the "Truth" album. It's the biggest reason why I bought a Sweet Sound Pro Bender (I have #21). I still want one of David Main's MKII's though. Nothing nails that midrangey sound better than his version. Right now, I'm listening to PBTHAL's killer vinyl-rip of "Truth" (taken from an original mono LP - Possibly a UK pressing - Dedicated mono-mix, and not a fold-down from the stereo mix). Love his tone on this album.

@stylist100 - Actually, I think Ronson used a MKI Tonebender instead of a MKII-type like this one, but David Main of D.A.M. also makes the best MKI replica as well. The MKII is what Beck used on "Truth" and what Page used on the 1st two Zep albums (Not sure about the others).

Unfortunately, these are so-NOT-readily-available anymore. I missed my shot by a year (maybe even only 6 months). I would have bought one if I had discovered them sooner. I would ONLY get one with the OC81D's. I already have my Pro Bender, so it would have to have the OC81D's for me to spend big-bucks on another MKII pedal. With those trannies, you won't find a more-authentic MKII sound.

@FFGG22E Hey, speakers and all of the gear you use with a vintage type fuzz pedal matters. The way a speaker distorts can make a fuzz pedal sound awful.

I have been making fuzz pedals for a while. I do have a couple of vids up on youtube.
