marius was an instructor and a member of the commando marine, parts of the french special forces, and he play his own caractere in the movie

This movie is dedicated to French troops,but also to journalists which is ridiculous given the title of the movie.Scant marks of realism at TIMES,when you recognize SOME proper footwork of the operators,people in the know will laugh at elite troops arguing with each other because of harsh conditions with a female journalist coming to the rescue,just ridiculous for the sake of drama.Watch REAL shooters in the movie,"Sinners and Saints",Sonny is the real deal,he's in it & trained the actors

Am I seriously the only American who recognizes that if it weren't for France's significant efforts during the American Revolution, there wouldn't be a USA. If you question that, then do yourself a favor and crack open a book and please try and get some reading in between TV commercials.

@angelncali France didn't make any significant efforts to help the US during this time that didn't explicitly help themselves. They were a hinderance to the US, just like Britain and Spain.

France lacked the military power of the other two countries and was forced to ally with Indians. Despite their lacking military power they still fought against the US in anyway they could.

This isn't even taking into consideration the Louisiana Purchase which cost America around 15 million dollars

The sittuation was complicated but french troops fought in the battle of Britain, in North Africa where a small number of french foreign legionaires stoped Rommel's army despite the germans being supperior in numbers. So don't troll what you don't know. Maybe they wanted to avoid the destruction of they'r country and the killing of inocent people. Also it was the decision of a small group of people. Not the whole country.
