  • how does your stepdad like this guitar? some say it is comparible to a martin d28....i was looking into it for a cheap escape but with some martin qualitys...let me know

  • @anthonyjw5 It's a great guitar. The custom action is really high, but that can be all setup for cheap. Check out the sound, unbeatable price, for what it is. I think the prices on these guitars may have gone up since, this has been quite a few years ago.

  • Really good job ! let's keep on picking.

  • Is that the D160 or the D170?

  • @thebird55 its a 160 im pretty sure

  • That was awesome! Check out my videos! I play the banjo, I have a Gibson Mastertone RB-250.....What kinda guitar is he playing?

  • Great Job by both of you 5 Stars worth I would say

  • This is what i love about my country right here....God Bless the United States of America and all the good it represents....

  • This is a great version of a great song. Both the lead and backup are very well performed. I have watch this several times and will try to attempt a slightly simpler version, as your lead break might be too difficult for me. Thanks again.

  • or just watch Tony if you don't understand what I was trying to say, haha! have a good one

  • chord progression is D, G, D, G, and D then start the loop over, it doesn't go to that Dminor, instead you go to the G quickly and back to D then hit your G. Check it out with the album.

  • Nicely done.

  • Good one dudes. I Saw that "silver creek instrument co." in my last Musicians Friend catalogue, I figured they probably had crappy tone and played like a cheese grater for that price, but it sounds good. Keep er up.

  • Yeah I did too, and I thought the same thing, well I guess we were both proven wrong! :)

  • I've since heard that they're good once you set them up and replace the bridge, some Elixir strings wouldn't hurt either.

  • I agree with the bridge. My Martin DX1 came with a really nice bridge, man what a tone! Then I put on those brass bridge pins, it is now heaven! Elixirs?! Yech, I've gotten two stes and withing moments of tuning up the B and High E strings broke! I use Dean Markley Alchemys, they are awesome, with regular cleaning [every 2 days] I've gotten about 3 months of life.

  • Good job.

  • awesome stuff folks.

    Best Wishes

    Trevor

  • thank you. but dude, seriously, that is my little sister you see there. haha.

  • Hahaha, thought it was you... well, she still looks beautiful, even though she's your little sister!!! lol :) But the picking is very good! Y'all play in bars or anything of that level, or just at home?

  • they are in a band. they play at festivals and churches and other events and the likes.

    'preciate your nice comments.
