1230Pink1 -- You by chance have any photos of the Rose Garden Drive In in Tyler? I'm a photographer of Drive Ins & Walk Ins & I'm a collector of Drive In Photos as well.. Check my photos out on flickr.. Thanx!! RAC Photography
Believe this movie is out of print. But you can sometimes find it on Vhs. Check out Ebay. That's where I got mine several years ago. I then transferred it to Dvd. It was filmed in Terrell Texas. The drive in seen in the movie was the Terrell Drive In Theatre. No longer there, a Bank now occupies the land. The Skating Rink was there last time I went thru the area, a few years back. Not sure of its' status today tho..
Now that Osama Is Dead & Under Water (And It Shouldn't Be Too Soon For this Comment) Believe it or Not I Remember when this movie from SHOWTIME back In 78. The Thing is I Wonder if Those 9-11 terrorist saw this movie as an Idea to terrorize us on that day, HMMM The IRONY!!!!
@clintonearlwalker Not really I was hoping that some of the people I worked with back then with might reply since we had a lot of fun times together like going to Denny's after work for a 99¢ Grand Slam breakfast although it was during the wee hours of the morning..
@denny906 The chances of finding people from a demolished theater 35 years ago on this YouTube vid are pretty slim. Denny's 99 cent breakfast after work, are you kidding? We used to go to the graveyard, abandoned quarry, corn field etc. with cases of beer and bags of pot after work :)
I need to know the name of the song that they play in the movie when they start cutting the lights on for the alamo, it doesnt have any words at all, just an old harpsicord and guitar
OH MY GOD! You are my new hero! I remember this movie from when I was a kid, but only certain things about it. I wish it would be released on DVD! I remember a scene with a van with a water-bed in the back that bursts during a scene with a water fall in the film within a film. That and the songs, What Ever Happened To Randolf Scott, and God's Gonna Get You For That. Wow, thank you so much!
Surreal. The end of the trailer shows a plane crashing into the World Trade Center 25 years before it actualy happened.

I saw this movie on a double bill with Lords of Flatbush. Drive In blew LoF off the screen.
