You guys should see when 2 birds lock talons and do a death plunge. Damn near ran a pair over that plunged onto the road a few months ago. They disapeared under the hood of my car. I think they managed to get out in last minute, but i'm not 100% sure though.

The scientific name is buteo buteo - its accepted name is "common buzzard" (or "European buzzard"). It's confusing that "buzzard" is used for vultures in the US but for some hawks in Europe.
