games don't have good soundtracks anymore... A good soundtrack to a game reveals just how much the producers worked for the game. It's a pinch of soul in the game. I can't remember games with good soundtracks except hw, half life and thief.

@blahbutt23 yeah i think you might be right there, i bloody hope so the homeworld series is the best series of games ive ever played, and i will remember them always, i think they should do an online one next in the style of the x games or eve, it would kinda makes sense with the hyperspace gate network being found at the end of homeworld 2, think how awsome it would be.

What they did to Homeworld 2 was inexcusable. In order to reach a deadline they essentially raped the saga and turned the campaign into an incoherent pile of rubbish. This is why hard-core gamers should be the people making decisions not some suits that only care about dollars and cents. The game would have made just as much if not more money if they had given it time to be a game worthy of its predecessor's name. Graphics were great, everything else suffered. Same as KOTOR 2. Shameful.

I have to agree. The Keeper always seemed like a terrible beast that was beyond you. You couldn't kill it, only try to defend yourself and survive. It was a testament to the power of the Progenitors and a fearsome foe that would always wreck my fleet pretty badly.

The Rescue/Assault on the space station nearing the end was even more difficult though; I never did beat that mission because you're outnumbered about 5-to-1.

The trick to that one is to build turrets pulsars and ions and try to maintain a full unit of cap ships and stay in a pocket around the mother ship and the rest of the producers. Take the enemy cap ships first and try prayer.

lol it was exiting from hyperspace 6 destroyers quickly made him go back in hyperspace and all that happened until i overcharged that thing and made him never hiperspace again....

when ever the keeper came out of hyperspace, i had so many ships, once it was finished coming out, it would immediately go back into hyperspace, lol, seriously, i was preparing for the next mission and so i hadn't put the last switch in yet, so all my ships were in aggressive, so they would all start bombarding the keeper, i couldn't even see it, and when i zoomed in, it would cause mayjor lagg! lol

They are legal. The torrents are usually extracted from the game it's self. I forgot the name of the extracter though. It makes it easy that way, rather than everybody extracting as some don't know what they're doing. (Like me, I fucked up with it.)
