Thank you for this truthful heart to heart talk. I honestly do have the same problem. Some girls use to call me pimple face and all. Made me feel insecure about myself. Thank you for this. My daughter doesn't have acne problems, but she has suffered through being bullied for the past 1.5 years which has destroyed her selfesteem. This gives me hope that you can bounce back from such devistation. It got so bad that we have moved and she starts a new school on Monday. I don't have acne problems but, sometimes i do have low self-esteem and when i was watching this an you said that you "weren't that pretty in real life" i was thinking and i came to a conclusion that it mostly isn't about someones appearance, it has a lot to do with personality and you are definitely a beautiful person oh and by the way you are extremely gorgeous even without makeup :)

I absolutely understand you Daiserz89! I'm also an Asian female that grew up in a non-diverse community. And it was normal to treat anybody different like an outsider. It took leaving Northeast Ohio to see a different world. My husband didn't believe a word about the attitudes that I had to live with until he visited. And it didn't help that newly transplanted students from other countries were committing suicide. Keep up the good work! I love this video's honesty!

@daiserz89 Hi girl, are you still suffering from acne ? use a yasmin anti baby pills or pregnancy pills it will stop acne and will not give you acne for futures and make your skin smooth.or use a clearsil gel to wash your face give it 1 or 2 months i have told many people around me with acne problems to use it boys and girls and now other people are running behind him cuz they're freaking handsome and gorgeous but before no one even wanna talk or stare at them...

Also, an absolutely amazing product for acne is Accutane. There are a lot of rumors that go around about it that scare people off, but I went on it and, though my skin was dry while I was on it, I didn't have a single breakout for at least six months following, and after, they were only small ones. Talk to a dermatologist for options. But really, you're already beautiful! But do what makes you feel confident. :)
Im just recently realizing that everyone is beautiful, sure makeup is nice, but its just like icing on the cake. Cake is still fucking delicious, with or without icing, am I right? When I look at myself now, I realize that I need to focus on the positives, and don't get down about any negatives. Being a negative nelly gets you nowhere in life.

Thank you for this video....I was picked on from elementary school all the way through high school and I have never felt pretty. It really took my husband to tell me almost everyday how beautiful I am to truley start to realize that I am beautiful in my own way. I still have days where I cant stand to look at myself in the mirror but I think we all have days like that. Thanks again for this video!

Thank you for this video....I was picked on from elementary school all the way through high school and I have never felt pretty. It really took my husband to tell me almost everyday how beautiful I am to truley start to realize that I am beautiful in my own way. I still have days where I cant stand to look at myself in the mirror but I think we all have days like that. Thanks again for this video!

very inspiring video, and I'm sure it took a lot of courage to do it. but I'm happy for you that we were able to get your confidence back - and through this experience, you're able to help other girls out there too. :)
in any case, when we don't like something about ourselves, it's a smarter idea to focus on something we do like and always remember we are all special just the way we are (there's nobody in the world like you).

such an inspirational video! thanks so much daisy. I get teased as school most days by the "popular girls" they all tease me and say I'm fat and ugly. I also have really bad skin and sometimes the name "pimple girl" comes up at school. sometimes it really gets to me but most of the time i really try hard just to ignore it, thanks for this amazing video daisy, it means more than anything!! xoxo

you're not ugly. You are a beautiful woman and there is nothing wrong with your skin. You can always change it with abit of work. If you have an amazing personality nothing can go wrong in your life. I dont understand why people are so critical about peoples acne etc. Its just pimples, you didnt ask for them. But none the less the point is your absolutely gorgeeous. And i appreciate it so much that you put out a video like this actually showing you and showing other girls that its okay :)

Thanks for posting such a personal video and letting your subscribers learn more about you. Growing up (also a minnesotan, Asian, and also was one of the few asians at my elementary/middle schools) I felt like I was an ugly duckling also. I never got teased but I was very self conscious.
