Actually Amy came before Sally did, well kinda. When Sally appeared in the old show and stuff, she was supposed to be Amy cuz Amy's original name was Princess Sally. The Sonic games go by the story the way it should be. I think Sonic and Amy are a much better couple (cuz I think Amy is better and cuz she's actually a hedgehog), but that's just my opinion...
