@BeeSnitchin Russian Ballet and Irish Riverdance....yeah yes those are epic...but not as great as this though IMO, and oh, for Spanish Flamenco...I'd say its crap.
@mendozajanrae Really? Well, we all see things differently. I see flamenco as sexy, passionate and graceful. Have you see the awesome Chinese ballet acrobats doing Swan Lake?. Seeing is believing!!
@BeeSnitchin Well I have to agree when it comes to Chinese dances...see, if its Asian, I maybe amazed..but for westerner traditional dance, its a few. Specially those...copied from Asian...but if westerner dance that I like...which of them you mentioned, yes I do like, (Irish and Russian)...but never for Spanish...Capoeira maybe.
@mendozajanrae I do recommend you see the Chinese acrobatic version of Swan Lake- part Western ballet, part Chinese traditional jaw-dropping flexibility and balance- simply amazing.

Shoddiness goods that stand at the top or to go and kill yourself? Sex, cause like everyone to Kill the chicken, I set a small male i just translated this u weak
This woman was dressed up like a Maiko, you can tell by her kimono [this type called a furisode] (the long, hanging belt called an obi and the long sleeves too) but she's not a real one. I'm not even sure they dance with umbrellas anyway...
Umbrellas are a rather common prop in Japanese traditional dance, although they probably would be used only for dances on stage (as here) and not at a zashiki, for space reasons.
Did I ever say that you must study it to watch this? I didn't and I enjoyed watching this video even I didn't understand the meanings. none forced you to watch this, geez -__-

darling i sent a simple comment that shows how i look at it. i would like a lot to understand japanese art but if i must study to find something beautiful in it, i think ill take a look to other cultures..
And I respect it, but just I wanted to let you know that it actually has reasons, so maybe you could get more excited about it. At least I would.. So sorry if my comment seemed rude to you

to tell you the truth the thing that made me search about japanese art was the book memoirs of a geisha. i have loved that book and the japanese art that it explains but what i see here is much more different and i have dissapointed.. if you have something different to show to me i would love to watch at it.

Wow, Miss Nandi, you are definitely a dancer of all trades. Is there any style you won't do? Anyways, are you going to stick with one of these styles? Or are there more to explore on your plate? :D

Exquisite maiko's kimono and dancing- but the song is dreadful. Most Japanese songs sound like strangled cats.

@mendozajanrae Interesting- as there are some historians who believe that flamenco actually originated with Indian temple dancing.

Maybe foreigner can not understand what the meaning of the dancing. The dancing
is telling a short story by her movement. The audiences image the story with pure mind.

If the name appearing at the beginning indicates anything, she's a foreigner whose name is Joy Abraham.
She probably has been practicing for this stage.
