You know.....I like to use my body like that for drum beats, but i do it without my shirt so i get more of a slapping tone. This is a very viable creative idea, basically if I were in your shoes I would try to hook up with a clothing designer as the real work would be in creating a suitable "suit" to house your pickups. I'm not sure I would be posting this demonstration on YouTube though if you don't already have a patent pending...but good luck with it!
it rule having mr.mandra as music teacher i got to use this the fact that its light wieght is practical but after 4 or 5 stoned and drunk(what a mess that was)high school kids plus there all adhd it smelled like smoke on his floor and it was all hot to the touch and not a single person but lardy mcjoe (kenny) could get near it but his nose was filled w/ dorito crums
the drum brain is a roland TD3, the piezos plug in there. When I demo the manDrum and you hear drums and the this kick ass mangled slidy bass sound, that's the result of me processing the drums.
So, the drum triggers are just "piezo transducers" - you can buy them on ebay for next to nothing. I mounted them on clothing (as you can see) using industrial velcro. After touring w/ this rig for over 6000 miles, I started having to a. replace the transducers (they don't last forever) and b. keep them on the clothing using duct tape. If your drum brain has trigger inputs, your set!

Do the piezo's just plug into the 1/4 jacks on the
sound modules?
What modules are you using for sounds...?

Nice work man! I can hear drummers everywhere rejoicing that they don't have to lug their kit around anymore. ;)

that is seriously sick!
I have a drum brain and drum triggers, how would I go about getting little trigger pads like you have so I could design my own little drum box?
