You're saying burned and poison is the same thing. It's not. If you're burned you flip a coin between turns. If tails you put 2 damage counters on the burned Pokemon. If heads nothing happens, but you flip again between the next turn. If Pokemon is poisoned it takes 1 damage counter every time between turns.
