  • this is really good!!! i competed in university of arizona's for best comedy and urs pretty much beat the shit outta mine lol good job

  • Congrats on your regional win. I gotta say, the main actress was awesome.

  • HAHAHAHAHA.. "fuck it *slap!*" LOL!

  • Congrats on getting a CMF Staff Pick. So your movie will be screened!

  • very enjoyable, very funny and the lead actress

is very cute. i was at the screening, be the nutty thug in "Ill Will".

  • I'm sorry you guys didn't get wild card or CV pick. Still this was a great film and my favorite from San Jose State

  • i was about as surprised as everyone when this lost to a stop motion video. next years cmf will probably have tons gimmick videos

  • Omg sooo funny! I'm shocked it got nominated over In The Light tho...I mean, this wasn't nearly as offensive ;-)

  • shut up Andy ;)

  • This was my favorite comedy of this year's group!!!!! Loved loved loved it!! ha!!! Great work guys!

  • Thanks SJBOY...much appreciated :)

  • funny. great job.

  • Le Glouton Rouge would've been tolerable if it wouldn't have been for those silly sunglasses the characters were wearing. aesthetics are important, and the glasses aren't even ironic or funny.

  • I think there was validity to the choice of using sunglasses. The red character was not wearing his sunglasses after he was punched as a way to symbolize that his block was "knocked off" like his Rockem Sockem counterpart. Just a thought.

  • i get that, and really if they had to use sunglasses, they could've gotten some that weren't so transparent...they just seemed like pretentious choices. it's like, obviously you're going to use faux wayfarers. of course you are.

too easy. too obvious. immediately dated and old.

i know it seems harsh, but this is what i do and i have to have a critical eye for it. just sayin.

  • I'd say you pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one.

    its all rigged anyways.

  • you are right, how could we have overlooked such expert use of symbolism?

  • LOL!

"this is such a good idea..."

  • coco, no hate was meant for your film. I'm not a film maker, but more of a fan. The calibre of the films from San Jose were really well done and I saw one of the big winners from last year was from your school. I think it was Hungry. Either way, Le Glouton Rouge was a great film too. I admit I liked this one better. Possibly more for the performances. I can appreciate the work that goes into a stop motion film like yours as well. Kudos on your win and good luck at the regionals

  • hey one dirty fool...thanks man. much appreciated :)

And coco...please don't come onto this movie's page starting stuff with people who wanted to compliment me on my movie. That looked extremely selfish on your part....now please go away.

  • Congrats on getting the CMF Staff Pick award. Looks like you get another shot. Good luck at regionals!

  • Hey again, I was rewatching the films competing and I think your movie has a shot at Top 16 at the Western Regional.

  • Congrats on the win for Best Comedy in the regionals! Good luck at the internationale grand finale! A well deserved win!

  • no hate from your trft buds coco, we thoroughly enjoyed your film and the crazy amount of work it took to make it...well deserved win

  • Please don't come onto this page calling the filmmakers sore losers. Maybe you could try talking to them and attempting to collaborate instead of making assumptions about an entire group of people.

Maybe if you do have such sore feelings about us, you should reevaluate yourself as a filmmaker.

  • Hey Giants baby...the film kids wouldn't want to collaborate with someone selfish enough to come onto a youtube page and have the attention turned to them...cuz they obviously aren't getting enough after winning best picture. We leave selfishness at the door.

  • Being friends with the judges especially pays off!

  • so the stop motion folks are friends with the judges?

  • I don't go to your school or even live on the West Coast, but I did see all the films from San Jose and I gotta say I think this deserved Best Picture. I was shocked to see the one that was chosen. But I texted my vote for you guys. Good Luck. Hope you make it to the Regionals.

  • dang i dont think i could compete with that!

  • Oh christ. Oh dear lord. I think my shot might make this movie lose.

  • OH SHIT...this is definitely winning best comedy!

  • HA HA HA!
