There are some mistakes with the pronunciation. The "ch" in Tenochtitlan is pronounced like the "ch" in chair, not like the "ch" in the Scottish word Loch. Also, the "tl" sound is very different to how she says it. It's like a lisp sound. Check Wikipedia for the Nahuatl article, and follow the "listen" link. The last sound of Nahuatl is the "tl"sound. Also a single floating garden is a chinampa, not a chinampas. One chinampa, two chinampas. Again: check Wikipedia.

The main reason that Mexicans do not take as much pride as we should in our ancestor's achievements is that ever since the Spanish overtake, Mexico has been enslaved and brainwashed by the Catholic religion. People have been told to bow their heads and renounce everything that came before them. Politically and demographically, it's much worse. I wish someone that was a real native of Mexico would have told about our history. How would a European know more about Mexico's History than the Native? Tell me how is that? I don't know that much about my ancestors that were native to Mexico, but I do know more about my Spaniard ancestors. It's sad I don't know more. Maybe I should ask my grandma, my parents don't talk about it much. I Hope they're not ashamed. I know i wouldn't be.
