  • I couldn't have said it better myself!!!

  • To believe in christianity and read a bible and lay judgement against another needs to learn to read. I care less what a person does but I do know one thing for a man to lead 1,000,000 + people to march to washington for a good cause is a great achievement. The founders of this country werent saints but they are on our money. They led the era of slavery . Its not even a black or white issue. To beat , torture ,and enslave the social growth of any human being sounds like devilment in the bible

  • Rise Up & Continue the Fight in Honor of Dr. King & All of Our Ancestors Who Smashed 4 Us 2 get 2 this Point!!1 ~All Power 2 the People~

  • MLK's eyes being all that you see at the beginning of the video

  • Dose anyone know where this speech was recorded and what the speech is known as?

  • Prophetic Vision we speak of today

  • Stupid Luddite condemns technology while simultaneously using an electric microphone.... and they put this idiot on the Washington Mall.... this country's going to the dogs (dawgs)

  • @MetrazolElectricity Don't twist words. You know he isn't "condemning technology". So blacks should have stayed in the back of the bus? "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere"- MLK. Or do you think that your white skin entitles you to a life of privilege?

  • @erfbgu "Or do you think that your white skin entitles you to a life of privilege?" That's not just twisting words that's inventing them. lol All your crowd does is blame the white man for your misery. Shut up and do work, boy.

  • @MetrazolElectricity No it's not inventing words. If you don't feel that way then what's your problem with King? It seems you are the one who is upset about race...I see folks as individuals,I don't get into judging whole groups of people. And from where does your sentiment come...King's era? Boy??? Wow. Did you feel powerful when you typed this? Why are you angry?

  • @erfbgu lol so if I dislike king that means i dislike all black folks ...you on crack? King was a fat old boy who loved the spotlight & glamour and routinely cheated on his wife. Shows low moral character. He was also probably a communist and definitely he was not a patriot. So there are many things to find fault in him about. Lastly, I always feel powerful when I do things because I am a hard-worker and I've earned it. Unlike slackers like you who want something for nothing.

  • @MetrazolElectricity Not necessarily, but most of Kings work was fighting for equal rights for blacks. So again, does your white skin hold greater value than skin of color? Many men of power succumb to these same things (fame, infidelity)...He wasn't Jesus...how do you measure up on the morality scale? Do you honor your President? You SHOULD thank God for the actvity of your limbs (in humility), a split second can change it all. I'm grateful for both jobs I have and love Adam Smith's ideals.

  • @erfbgu lol if you think that infidelity is excusable then you hold your role models to a low bar. Afterall, there's a reason the black community has highest percentage of infidelity and single mothers. It's probably because the most famous african-american was a lowlife adulterer. Heck, forget Jesus, I know average joes who have higher character than king. lol Honor this President? No way. He does not love my country. He'll be deposed in '13.

  • @MetrazolElectricity Its said that atleast 2 of our founding fathers had children out of wedlock…with slaves…Thomas Jefferson being one of them. Do you throw him out as well? I won’t do the race back and forth thing w/you. I’m human above all and understand its better to work together than to divide over something no one has any control over (their race). A true patriot honors a president whether he agrees or disagrees with the politics, and I didnt vote for Obama by the way.

  • @erfbgu So what? Thomas Jefferson is known for his scholarship and intellectual vision. Whereas, MLK's claim to fame is his supposed high morality and he can't even hold on to that because of his deception and trickery. Sure, I think we should work together. I'm all for it. But I think the anti-white racism and the constant whining about the past that some of your brethren do makes me irritated and lose hope in you people. Lastly, I do not blindly follow a leader. Obama's anti-american.

  • @MetrazolElectricity The man was gunned down for standing up for what he believed. Where's the trickery in that? Be honest your goal is aggrevation the verdicts already in with you. Your mind is made up. How many of "my brethren" have you actually sat down with that enables you to draw the conclusion that you have (you people?)? Don't you realize that you end up becoming the same thing you hate (woe is me poor white man)? The commies haven't completely conquered us yet...take your country back.

  • @erfbgu He was shot cause he went down and stirred up some trouble. Trickery has to do with his personal life. A man who is immoral with his family cannot be an honest man. Listen, you do not need to actually sit down to know that black america is generally an angry lot stuck in the past. Since, it's clear you hate America, there's no point in discussing. And we will take our country back this year. And you ought to go back to your own country in Africa.

  • @MetrazolElectricity However you want to say it. He died standing up for what he believed. You are dishonest in your assessment of men because again when your argument is put back on you you make excuses (Jefferson). I love this country. What makes you think it isn't mine as much as its yours? You are not a founding father and neither did you fight to be here. You were either born here or you immigrated here. I feel for you sir. Life's already short and you waste it hating. May peace find you.

  • @erfbgu Even those villains who crashed the planes into the twin towers died standing up for what they believed. Believing something fanatically is not an automatic virtue, little man. I do not despise King cause he was black but because he was a lust-crazed adulterer who was not to be trusted around women. Anyway, I have been blessed with plenty of peace. May you find some enlightenment. God Bless...

  • Check out the new MLK song "FULL JUSTICE" on Youtube. Get ready to be inspired. Watch it now!

  • hello, im still left steelleft shelf um santa ana barabra rah,, hahaa,,,,,

  • @clearsplash123 I won't call ya but I'll definitely pray for you.

  • @oddtreenow2 are you retarded!?

  • Because there is no way to "learn" to live together... natures rules, not mine

  • @fargonbastedge There certainly is.

  • @oddtreenow2 MLK deosnt have as bad of a sercret history as to the like of ghandi or mother teresa, bewteen MLK and John Lennon prabolly some of the greatest men in history before you blame MLK for cheating on his wife maybe you should get a closer look at there relationship

  • We have not learned something that does not require learning, merely acknowledgement. We were born to love.

  • YOU ARE FUCKING AWESOME

  • @oddtreenow2 I was with a few people one evening, and there was a gorgeous full moon that night.

We went down the line of us, one by one, describing the amazing beauty of the moon: One mentioned how big and bright it was, one mentioned the beautiful halo around it caused by the partial clouds, one mentioned the amazing color.

The last guy pointed and said, "Yeah, but what about that little dark spot on it, right there?"

    You're like that guy.

  • @oddtreenow2 again, what made you dig this up? What about MLK made you go out and find the "bad" in him? Is it disbelief? Is it your not wanting to admit that a black person is just as capable? What if it was true all true? Would it discount the force he was and continue to be? Have you any evidence that he did? What is a source? Is rumor (unproven rumor) from a "reliable source" evidence? Seriously, go to school and study some more!

  • @oddtreenow2 there's actually a parody of people like you in the film "jennifer's body".

"It's true. It's on the Wikipedia", says a brainless girl who googled stuff instead of thinking for herself.

i feel really sorry for you. look through history and you will see the truth. look for stuff on the internet and you'll just find "information" that anyone can upload. it's up to you.

  • @oddtreenow2 It is not relevant at this time to cast stones at this man. Relevant are the messages he delivered, which were messages greater than the person he was. His ideas expressed were high, perhaps his actions were sometimes lower and mortal, not a perfect being. So what? We are all imperfect in our actions-. Who among us (making these comments) has inspired people such as he did? Look at the related videos & see what carries on. Let's hear from who he plagiarized of their complaints.

  • @oddtreenow2 Do you notice that whenever a black person does something extraordinary some people, instead of celebrating that, choose to go dig up some dirt? Look at all the talk about steroids because some black people excelled at sports and all of a sudden now everyone is talking about they must be doing something wrong, they are not capable, it is just unbelievable. Some believe Obama's books are not his because he can't write that well as a black person. Amazing.

  • @oddtreenow2 How do you know this and why do you choose to believe it? ask yourselft that. What's in it for you ? Are you aware that wikipedia can be edited by anyone and anyone can make up anything about anyone?

  • the 1 guy who disliked this is a poop!

  • @oddtreenow2

How does that take away from what he did for this nation? You can kill the body but you can't kill the soul and his soul will remain. If his ideas die another will come up and take this mantle and that man or woman will be more powerful than you can ever imagine.

  • @oddtreenow2 And how does that detract from what he said here? Was this plagiarized, where from?

  • "When we look at modern man, we have to face the fact that modern man suffers from a kind of poverty of the spirit, which stands in glaring contrast with a scientific and technological abundance. We've learned to fly the air as birds, we've learned to swim the seas as fish, yet we haven't learned to walk the Earth as brothers and sisters."

    Epic.

  • Human beings are 99.9 percent the same DNA, now that u all know that, can u please tell me does everybody in america need glasses!

  • True indeed.

  • One of the coolest things ever said by a human!

  • LOLOL at the look on his face when he said "and yet we haven't learned to walk the Earth as brothers and sisters" My God he is so right 40+ years later. :)

  • All our technology really comes to naught if we're only using it to kill each other.

  • @MsGnorts

You're absolutely right. MLK was a TRUE prophet of God.

  • this is a powerful exerpt

  • we have put the bible and god away

  • The demand of greed and the glow of gold always will hinder the demand of the soul to see elsewhere

  • Yo you spoke that like a true prophet. The way you put that was profound

  • Thank you very much for this video. And people still aint waking up, well wait till the earth does it for herself then people might wake up, going to take alot to shake this earth to the core of the peoples soul on this very earth and I feel in my own opinion, visions, and research that the time is coming and its coming very soon, soon we will learn to be together as one.

  • "Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men."

  • POWERFUL...

  • He was one of the major figures in ending segregation between races in America in the 1960's I believe. In his time there was a major segregation of blacks and other minorities.

  • Not exactly ending racial segregation, but certainly diminishing it a fair deal.

  • Lest not forget what Dr. Martin Luther King have contributed to all of us. I love ♥ you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be where we are now. I will not let what you, and what other Civil Rights leaders, and people fought for go in vain. Ame

  • its actually what causes the collapse of empires? technology and energy? if the supply and demand goes out of whack then civilizations can fall? Ex. Roman empire there "energy" was mainly source of food due to MAN POWER when they ran short of there Energy/power then it falls same thing with oil supply and demand drive prices and with select corporates running things then the cycle repeats itself? OPM= Our Planet Peace PEople Matter- C-pic idea to fight climate energy food and water in one bill?

  • MLK...you are our hero ...thank you

  • I want more!

  • I've searched the internet and still can't figure out what speech this is from. Perhaps just a Sunday sermon at Ebenezer Baptist?

  • To add on to that, I believe that technology becomes a problem when it silences the flow of nature and performs as a virus. When technology is used as a parasite to destroy the natural resources of this planet and ignores the wisdom of conservation, then it is a problem. They called the Native Americans and other indigenous people of this earth savages but observe how harmonious they were with nature. They weren't drilling for oil everywhere or destroying rainforests!!!! They had respect!!

  • so true man. so freaking true.

  • they were harmonious bcuz they didn't have the innovative mind of the white man and could not have accomplished the technological successes which have begun to destory the planet. the white man will adjust itself, not everything is done right at first!

  • So well put...

  • how true

  • Well put.

  • Over 40 years later, Martin Luther King is still right...

    Amazing...

  • @billionaireby16 when your right you can never go wrong

  • @billionaireby16

That's because he was a true prophet of God. Do you think Benny Hinn would hazard to put himself through the ordeal King endured to make of this world a better place to live in?

  • Some people were simply inspired by God and guided by The Almighty. Martin Luther King Jr., in my heart I believe, was without question one of them.

  • @BBX118 Or some people are just very smart, good speakers, and have a good and truthful message to give.

I give MLK all the credit. why is it that people feel the need to discredit bad people for bad deeds, but only credit god with the good ones?

  • i love this mans preaching style ive studied it and learn from it his sermons are educational to the listener there will never be another like the true Bishop who could have been Dr Martin Luther King Jr God wanted Him home .

  • where is this clip from?

  • preach brotha

  • whoa. one of the most powerful Orators. His words ring like a 1k pound bell clamoring on top of a mountain.

  • where can i get this whole speech?

  • "Modern man suffers from a kind of poverty of the spirit" --Absolutely! :'(

  • God Bless You, Martin Luther king, Jr. We have a debt that can never be paid - but he left us all with a responsibility. Speak truth to power - be as one against the oppressors - live a life in gratitude for the one he gave.

  • genius

    "...WOOOOAAAAAAH It's time to go!"

google it. If you don't get it.

  • My touch the kiss of death, more sick with every breath.....

  • these walls keep closin in, im just a manequin

  • Don't come too close to me

I can't find no space to breath it's time to go

  • Obsessed with misery

Life holds no joy to me, it's time to go

Switched of, there's no more pain

Padded walls, I'm half insane, it's time to go

(never thought there would be comments with these lyrics here)

  • I LOVE this clip, think it's fantastic!!!!!!!!! i adore Martin Luther King Jr, this is a wonderful clip thanx for posting :D

Ps Martin is quite sexy in this clip too :L:D

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • This is PERFECT.

  • Let's see is it about 40 years later and we have learned to have instant access to a black and white clip, and have not learned to walk the earth as brothers and sisters. RIP, my man.

  • perfectly stated.

and one group that calls themselves Americans uses a think-tanked advertising slogan of "Compassionate Conservatives"... hmm. funny....

  • the best speech ever.

  • The man that posted this is as powerful as this clip is YES I said it! He is! LOVE u MAN! YES I know him and he's a FUCKING ROCK STAR!
