I think it's because titanium can look a bit like the standard cans. And schoolboys can easily spot carbon, so it's always better to go that direction imo.

Sometimes, after I would take a dump, I couldn't get my culo clean. I'd wipe and wipe, but I still couldn't pass the white glove test. But then I finally found a solution! I went to the drugstore and bought one of those blue rubber ear syringes. I fill it up with warm water and then fire it up my chute after my movement. @toskoforce It's not the 'pitch' that was too much for the audio recording, but the sheer volume; it was way too loud for the cheap little condenser microphones that are part of all video cameras. 'Pitch' is frequency, or 'high' versus 'low' notes.

i tried it on mine, they sound like a harley at idle haha high rpm's they sound mean, but loud enough to give you a hemorrhage and very uncomfortable to cruise at. good for getting a lot of unwanted attention also.

Looking at getting some 45mm termi carbon slip ons for my 748. would go for the full 50mm system, but 1) not enough money and 2) far to loud for the local plod.

Have you just fitted the silencers? (rather than the whole system). I have a 996 and the termi silencers and vertical section of the pipes. problem is they dont even come close to joining up with the second half of the system!?! any ideas???

Hmmm. Not sure. Assuming you have the right and left the right war round (doh!) and you haven't got 50mm / 45mm pipe mismatch issues (double doh!), mine just slotted straight on. They are a struggle but offer up pretty much straight away. Springs were a faff though. Can you not ignore the 'vertical' and just use the silencers on the old vertical pipes? Hope you get it sorted. It's worth it, especially on a 996!

This vid actually convinced me it'd be okay to buy a 748 with Termi's for the road.

Unfortunately, the clutch on this bike sounds like a tambuorine and is detracting from the zorts.

Get the clutch sorted (an extra plate in the basket will do it) and it'll sound 10 times nicer.

I did the same thing - open pipes. when i was revving it i went a bt too far and my ear was ringing for the rest of the day.

Nothing like the ducati sound, open clutch cover too, very nice.

The only bad thing i can say about the bike is CRAP KICKSTAND!
