  • 43 inch vertical no wonder he got those rebounds

  • he was good but NOT at the level of tmac,vc or kobe like some idiots think

  • He could do anything rose could do.. and he was a better shooter.. have it no been for those injuries his career would have been amazing.. he wasn't selfish, 6 or 7 ast per game for a scoring guard is pretty good

  • @BklynHaitianCuz hahahahhahahah! this guy aint like rose at all more like russel westbrook thinks he's the number 1 star hes overrated

  • Where Was he pointing at?

  • great song for a real G.

  • shouldn't have dunked all those balls, save your knees

  • How is Steve Francis better than D.Rose. D.Rose has a higher carrer offensive rateing and defensive rateing than Steve Francis. and avrg more assist and points per game then steve francis plus steve Francis avrg more turnovers than D.rose. D.Rose is better in playoffs avrg 25 points a game Steve francis avrg is in 2003 2004 playoffs 19 ppg. so far in the 3 years rose has been in the nba he has played better than steve francis .

  • get the fuck outta here steve francis is not better than d rose wtf yall smokeing derrick rose is the mvp and steve francis is fucking bum

  • 3:37 So Flyy steve francis one of my childhood favorites, hurts to see him not playing in the league.

  • @steve Francis is better then derrick rose.

  • Steve wasn't as good of a scorer or leader as Derrick Rose but man hands down he's more athletic. He was just unbelievable. But Derrick Rose is just unstoppable when he drives the lane.

  • stevie franchisee.... great talent

  • underrated

  • this guy is 6-3 but averaged 6.9 RPG in 2000-01 & 7.0 RPG in 2001-02... wow :O

  • @FanOfTheDoraemons he's hustle; loves to rebound. there was that one quote that said he was "the only one who played with soul"

  • @keverinkarama I don't care if he isn't as good as D-rose, this video shows that steve francis was a great and an insane highflyer.

  • @AQganon Passion definitely deserves its spotlight in the NBA. same with allen iverson; he was a natural; kobe's just got Obsessive Compulsive Disorder lol.

  • @FanOfTheDoraemons ever heard of jason kidd? ;P but seriously, it's still very good. only know about 3 other pg's to average that, and that is kidd, magic and robertson, but magic and robertson were tall

  • the backboard tap, ok franchise i see you

  • if he stays at vancouver he should've been the franchise player!

  • also travel at 2:32?

  • @ 0:49 after they alley oop just look at him pointing lmao what a fuckin g

  • yo wtf is da name of dis song nigga pac was snappin lol

  • he is so cocky, no wonder for a guy who calls himself stevie franchise. what a ballhog

  • who knows where his career would have gone have he not had been injured all those years.. maybe an mvp.. a few rings.. i mean cmon.. he was derrick rose of his day.. i think he was better honestly

  • @BklynHaitianCuz nah he wasn't enough of a team player to get a ring

  • @BklynHaitianCuz I was going to enjoy this video of one of my fav. players growing up until you said that and ruined it for me. smh

  • @thety5489 lol hes one of my faves to.. sorry bro

  • @BklynHaitianCuz no way he better than derrick rose!!! he was selfish and he aint no MVP of the league!! buuutttt im not here to hate or else i wouldnt have looked this video up!! steve francis was apart of that wave of players who came in after MJ retired and really started to flourish because he was on a shitty team!! regardless he was a great player all star! but no derrick rose!!

  • @kchoodsta steve francis dunks look better than d rose ones tho ..

  • Hes a natural 2 guard.. wish he was taller hed be even more unguardable. hed still be around too cuz teams thought he was to selfish for a point guard but as a two his shot selection would have been acceptable on most teams. if he was only big enough to be effective as a 2... legendary

  • drose is gonna end up just like francis. sad to say, but it's true

  • @manny24lal nah man, sorry he wont because we've already seen his game develop and his shot is progressively gettin better plus he's already an mvp and has bettered francis' career high scorin average so just naw

  • 0:37

  • westbrook...

  • Its all Van Gundy's fault, traded francis for what? A bunch of first round eliminations

  • Tupac and the Franchise. Where have you gone

  • Steve is better than iverson

  • @G00KnaT10n Steve is a great player but not even close to the kind of impact player Allen was.

  • I'm gald I'm not the only one who thought him and derrick rose games are simliar..except he was a better dunker , shooter and he had better handles.

  • @YoungBac They are VERY similar except I honestly think that Derrick is already better than Francis at his prime, and Derrick has not peaked yet. Francis was a better dunker, but not a better shooter. I think Derrick is a better ball handler and has better game smarts too.

  • man, that was the best mix i have ever seen.

  • guess you guys dont remember how god francis was... ill admit rose is better but dont be so quick to knock stevie

  • dude had UPS!

  • 2:52 to 2:57 Jordanesque

  • Dunk @ 2:13 was sick. Reminded me of a Jordan dunk...he was still on the way up when he dunked it. LMAO @ Sabonis gettin' posterized @ 4:32!

  • @blackprince206 evrybodies posturized Sabonis.... shieeeet, i Postorized him back in '00

  • Dunk @ 2:13 was sick. Reminded me of a Jordan dunk...he was still on the way up when he dunked it.

  • the frenchise is hustling hard!!

  • lol this is my moms cusin

  • His five years in Houston were so sick. I'm glad I was growing up back then. REAL Guards crash boards. That's what Stevie did. I modeled a lot of my game off of him. Too bad I'm only 5'4. I just stuck to track--lol--good move! Stevie Franchise was the shit!

  • Steve Francis ftw!

  • what tupac song is this?

  • @eightdize21 Lil homies OG version

  • I got to watch this guy play in junior college (Allegany) before he transferred to Maryland. I was the cameraman under the basket. Steve gave us more highlights in his one season than the rest of the team combined. UNREAL talent.

  • which version of tupac's is this song?

  • damn, this fool has highlights for dayss

  • lmao! at the travel at 2:32

  • @ashashbaby07 that was not a travel, with a crossover you are allowed 1 gather step. if you look closely steve took his gather step then took the two steps which is legal.

  • @AuthenticBlaze naw, bullshit, he traveled, what the hell rule book you read says, with particular moves you can pick up the ball and run across the lane?

  • @Ty33Budd no he did not, haha trust me you're allowed a "gather" step. look at the killer crossover, look at many crossovers in fact, and tell me they don't take a gather step when they drive to the lane. the only people that could do this without using a gather step, were very few, and even then they used it sometimes.

  • steve francis iz not human dis nigga be dunk like a big man n he's onli 6'3... another player whose career ended to soon...

  • @eddiebai86 he's prob at tops only abt 6'0 cos the nba list players much higher than they are , which makes him even more amazin.

  • Derrick Rose is Derrick Rose.. Francis was The Franchise. Francis could pretty much do everything, he just never could get settled in with 1 team. Shoot, rebound, pass, jump, clutch, heart. He had his own problems with attitude, coaches, and other stuff. Derrick is legit though. Legit.

  • FUCK LIL HOMIES' 2PAC IS GREAT...

  • reminds me of an allen iverson.

  • @NavjotGraphicDesign Who thinks Ty Lawson is the new AI? thumps up!

  • I remember when him and cuttino mobley used to throw alleys to each other

  • @ 4:30 - I sits on Sabonis heads

  • After a dose of Frachise I fogot who the fuck Dwayne Wade was

  • @venuecam thank you. dwade is a poor mans steve francis

  • where is this guy?

  • @siggascation lastt i heard, he was playing in china

  • @alwayzAngry i heard he was in indonesia but thats my asian friend sayin so i dont really trust him

  • @alwayzAngry i heard he was in indonesia but thats my asian friend sayin so i dont really trust him

  • @siggascation he's the black carmen sandiego then....

  • he woulda been a HOF

  • Happy birthday, Steve Francis!

  • if you miss francis...theres always russel westbrook!!!

  • He disappeared way too fast

  • @FloridaRaider yea cause the rockets traded him...went all down from there

  • One of the most explosive point guard to play the game. He had the handles, dunks, shots, and speed. Too bad his injuries got the best of him.

  • LOL have you seen zydrunas pulled steves left leg when he dunks on big z @4:00?

  • O yeah, isn't Steve Francis playing in China for the 'Dragon Fierce Chopsticks" ?

  • o God, he was too sick too sick

  • :( it saddens me he's struggling to get a job at this point... even in China?

i will always remember his MD days. him and terrence morris lol.

  • 1:47 to 1:50 ---> All in dude's face lol..

  • he can`t even play in china these days...

  • Pac at the end. Od'd! lmao

  • the play he does at 1:09 is really sick

  • Comment removed

  • i like these mixes but Yinka Dares mixtapes quality not the best.

  • If Steve ever learned how to play the point guard position and run the pick and roll instead of just being content with being a scorer, he could have lasted in this league several more years, heck probably even today.

Look at B Diddy, He is still playing and is a valuable commodity because he can run the pick and roll. Except for his huge contract that is.

  • @pandasweater Injuries is what caused his fall, not his playstyle.

  • @Divinety3

True, but his playstyle is what caused the injuries! Jumping and change of direction like that just destroys your knees - Look at Jason Kidd and Steve Nash - both play the classic PG role including pick'n'rolls and both are still going strong. All the players like Francis and Iverson eng up buggered. Even Jordan learnt he had to change his game to survive

  • @iangleave MJ had change his game because he got old dumbass. He couldn't do thing he could do when he was young.

  • @Domini478 that's what he means dipshit

  • @manny24lal Fuck you bitch! MJ had changed his game because he got old!

  • @Domini478 no shit dumbass! thatts what he said! god you're a dumbfuck!

  • @Domini478

Haha! Well done for understanding how age and injuries correlate you 'dumbass' as you put it. As your body gets older, all the stresses endured by it from your youth begin to come back to haunt you. Trust me, when you're a kid you feel invincible and shun the fundamentals because you know you can beat your man with 1 step every time, slowly mashing your knees up as you go. Then, like me, you get to 30 and your knees go pop. Good job some people learn the fundamentals to fall back on.

  • @iangleave derrick rose future future dosent look to bright then

  • @BklynHaitianCuz

Sadly, no. There again, some players have remarkable durability and can alter their game when they pick up some niggles so you never know... I still see the future of the PG spot being dominated (long term) by classic style PG's though.

  • @iangleave True

  • @iangleave jordan never learned :))

  • @denistmac

Just watch his early, high flying antics slowly morph into his SF type of role where he backs his man down to the post and either spins round for a lay-up or pushes off for a guaranteed open fadeaway. The best was in the mid-late 90's when he could feel his body starting to crumble and you can see how he worked on altering his game - Absolutely awesome.

  • @iangleave well it only kills ur knees if u dont do proper excercise and conditioning to strengthen ur knees. it couldve been prevented. look at kobe, hes still going strong and he did a lot of that stuff too.

  • @crazycriz5000

Kobe changed his playing style when he started getting lots and lots of niggling injuries! Check his history and you'll see that by his 3rd year in the NBA his games were already diminishing. after 3 injury hit years he was advised to alter his game (like Jordan) and he started to train like mad on long 2's and 3's. Watch a game with early Kobe - even up to his 4th and 5th pro years - against a modern one. The differences are huge!

The basic fact is change your game quick or rot

  • @iangleave idk man, another good example is KG. he's been playing for quite sometime now and he can still jump very good. i think its all in the work u put into specifically excercising your legs and knees, the stronger ur leg muscles are, the better chance u have to prevent an injury, but hey, they may be bound to diminish and get weaker.

  • @iangleave Same thing in Griffin's case.

  • @Titanius67

Definitely. Shame though, because everyone loves to see high flying beasts like him but they all end up like Larry Johnson

  • Francis [and Baron Davis] were the prototypes for guys like Rose and Westbrook. Too bad he partied himself out of the league.

  • Steve took the money and ran.

  • russell westbrook's father

  • one word for this guy: INTENSE.... what a great player he was and a dunker

  • when i watch this video i felt like also watching d wade,,

  • Baron Davis Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis.. three guys with tons of potential but never really got it.. sucks that they came into the nba in the era that they did, under more controlled offenses they would have been something

  • @noelh98 I totally agree...I think Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, & John Wall are gonna be what those three should've been in their careers.

  • @iHypeTV idk dont fall into the trap of believing modern players are the end all be all..

  • good luck in beijing ducks !!!

  • The best mix on youtube.

  • Too bad Houston traded Stevey "Franchise" I said it was a bad trade when it happened, the sad thing is is that it was even worse for Francis....he was never quite the same after the deal.

  • i think that with him thing would of been different.....

  • yea steve francis was a beast, i used 2 look up 2 him but every year since the injury he jus kept slippin, til he jus left, AI is in that same race but AI is still playing, hopefully hes doing good in turkey

  • im going to get alot of shit for this but honstally he is the most talented player i have ever seen play NOT THE BEST the most talented his potential was soo high it was mind blowing if i had to compare him with sumone today it would be rose but rose is not even close to francis i honstally seen this dude play and i was like.........this guy is honstally going to be the next 'great one' he had THAT MUCH POTENTIAL.. but then again so did penny hardaway and grant hill and T-mac such a shame man

  • Derrick Rose is the new Steve Francis.

  • @jamesthereaper7 thats just what i was thinking wen i was watching this vid yes he is

  • @jamesthereaper7 naw man, rose is sick but francis was dunkin everything

  • @jamesthereaper7 Derrick Rose is NOT the new steve francis, Steve can rebound like LeBron James D-Rose cannot do that

  • @jamesthereaper7 I would say russel westbrook & derrick Rose is like the new marbury of course better

  • @jamesthereaper7 hell no Rose is better

  • @krms101 Rose is way better but I see a lot of Francis in him.

  • @krms101 Rose is more talented but Francis was a better DUNKER

  • @jamesthereaper7 RUSSEL WESTBROOK PLAY MORE LIKE FRANCIS THAN D. ROSE

  • @VannieYpc lol.

  • @XavierXDN72892 Rose is even better.

  • @jamesthereaper7 NO HE"S FUCKING NOT...ROSE EVEN PLAYS IN AN WAAAYYY EASIER ERA OF PLAYERS AND RULE CHANGES....END OF DISCUSSION

  • @XavierXDN72892 No he doesn't. PG depth is way deeper then it was when Francis was around.

Westbrook, Rondo, Nash, Williams, Paul, Kidd, Wall etc.

PG is the deepest position in the NBA right now so your arugment is wrong.

  • @jamesthereaper7 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT FRANCIS HAD REAL PG'S TO FACE. KIDD IN HIS PRIME, GARY PAYTON IN HIS PRIME, ROD STRICKLAND, JASON WILLIAMS, NASH, AVERY JOHNSON, IVERSON, MARBURY IN HIS ALL STAR PRIME, KENNY ANDERSON, BIBBY, TIM HARDAWAY, BARON DAVIS, D.STOUDAMIRE AND SO ON...

  • @XavierXDN72892 Stop talking in cap locks.

The PG depth in today's game is way deeper then it was back when Francis was around.

  • @jamesthereaper7 HOW OLD ARE YOU....YOUN MUST HAVE NEVER SEEN THE NBA FROM 99 TO 02

  • @XavierXDN72892 I did actually and the depth is deeper now. The players I named are way better then what you named.

    End of story.

  • @jamesthereaper7 It is not as much as it is deep, as that the rules have changed dramatically to favour PGs, since 2005-6 when the league curtailed hand checking, allowed moving screens and introduced 3 def rule, that's when the PG domination started, the rules are clearly designed for PGs and quick ballhanders and perimeter players, it is much easier to penetrate to the basket than before..

  • he got bungies

  • you do know that he cudnt palm the ball and he still cant

  • damn 3:37 i didnt kno yao has such a good assist skill

  • 1:26-1:31 ...... DAMN!!!

  • This dude is a beast. DMV francis all day long.

  • 2:21 "gimme that shit" hahaha

  • His career has been disappointment

  • @forshigity5000 He used to be my favorite player when i was younger but idk he just started to suck :/

  • i miss steve franchise

  • 1:13 was siiiiiiiccccccccckkkkkkkkkk

  • could you please tell me the name of the song which sounds from 0:00 to 0:10???

  • @ JULZELLIS...THIS NIGGA HERE IS NO WHERE NEAR THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME...ARE U CRAZY..IF ANYTHING, HE IS THE WORST TRADE OF ALL TIME

  • i like stevie franchise but i can tell hes definitely not 6'3"!

  • @AtomicCrane wtf are you talking about?

  • @tripledoublee hes really 6 1 or 6 2 the nba lies about height1

  • @AtomicCrane

    then whats his height

RESPECT STEVE MY FAVORITE PG OF ALL TIME !

  • tupac is a wild muthafucka!

  • @d0c16 He was an actor through his entire life playing a part.

  • @d0c16 yea he was, that nigga sound scary as fuck on this track.

  • Ah yes, Steve Fran the poor mans Allen Iverson. Good baller though. A product of the "thug" era when putting big rims on your escalade was all that mattered.

  • @DestructerX don't get me wrong. But iverson could never jam like steve franchise.

  • This mix of pac is dope

  • i miss the old steve

  • @Eric68B

    i just miss steve ._.

  • he was at the same level Tmac and pierce were and now he is not good enough to play in china

  • the guy was a maniac

  • Derrick Rose my ass

  • his dunk's was just epic.

  • pisses me off how he disappeared as soon as he went to new york...freaking walsh is a superstar assasin

  • @doudoub2005 not walsh stupid it was isiah .....walsh came long after steve was gone

  • Man he fell off badly!

  • Man I miss when it wuz Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Yao Ming, Walt Williams, Kenny Thomas, Moochie Norris, & Eddie Griffin ..... H-Town

  • man it's so sad what happened to this guy... he couldve been one of the greats
