There is some talent in that ring, but not nearly enough to justify the accolades given by "real fans" of sports-entertainment. Let's not forget the real genius here is Vince. Heyman came up with a good concept, but Vince sustains his.

In ONS everytime an ECW wrestler did something spectacular they cut to WWE "superstars" laughing at them. It was freaking annoying when they cut to JBL calling them stupid every 2 minutes during the amazing Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka match. Wrestling wize I liked both ppv's. I mean it's the same guys doing their thing. People are just tired of Tommy Dreamer whining.

Vince gave ECW another run with a better PPV as well as a new show. Sure, Vince eventually buried the new ECW, but at the beginning of that run, ECW on Sci-Fi was the best show WWE had by far.

5 years later, TNA comes along with the same guys, WELL PAST their primes, and delivers a inferior PPV with an annoying blue light, and no follow up.

@NewYorkKidd meh the orginal was doomed to fail though becasue it wasnt marketable to sponsors. It was ok id say good storylines and such 90% of the wrestling was just horrible. Most of those guys (with a few excpetions) had no concept of what goes into a match so they just resolved to smashing each other with chairs. TNA doesnt understand the concept of we wanna see new guys wrestle and new stars, not the guys from the 80's and 90's who cant admit they are done.
