A hunslet on a level dry track could pull 2 tons (2000Kg). But many factors must be considered, track condition (wet and oily), gradients and above all stopping once moving.

A verra beautiful little engine, if I do say so myself.
I'd love to own one, but I'm afraid it'd be too expensive for me...
